That is the Zurdo that went to stay with a young woman who gentled a mustang on the reservation named Surfer Dude! That is so awesome! I have become horse obsessed and I love your videos! 🐴❤️
Are these really what a TIP horse should be able to do? If so, my TIP trainer was definitely lacking! They actually argued that haltering/catching was not a requirement: only leading, picking up feet, and trailering. -Trailer loading -Catching and haltering -Leading and tying -Being groomed/brushed -Feet picked up -Fly mask and fly spray I LOVE watching your videos! Because of them, I've been able to teach my supposed TIP Trained horse how to lead, whoa, halter, be approached, grooming (sans hind end), and pick up his front feet. Still trying to get up the guts to work on his hind feet/back end. He's not a fan of me passing his flank just yet. I wish you were in the Midwest!
Wow Isidro, great reflexes and hanging on when you did the first movement with a saddle! Lol that was exciting! He looks like a really nifty little horse- so cool to see him grow up and mature mentally and physically. Hope you all are well- getting hot here in Tucson so I have too much time inside. Thankfully I have lots of great horse videos to watch- thanks! Mbz
Have you and Isidro ever considered a riding camp? I do not know how to ride but I would like to. I would trust you both to teach me. I would prefer to ride without a bit and without stirrups but I would definitely need a saddle. Thank you for another terrific video.
I just got my first mustang the end of sept! My question is how do I get this horse to move. He is soooo lazy, a lot of things he does he is really good! When you lead him he will not trot, HELP please
What color is his coat. He looks like he has a buckskin muzzle. He is very cute. I like his leg markings. He is one of the lucky ones because he has you!!
Oh, that horse they found last month is ok? Such good news! I worried so much because it sounds like he wasnt gentled and it appered that he would need antibiotics. Glad that had a happy ending.
I agree. It seems rare to find one that is 15h or over. When you think about it, 14.2 is actually pony sized. So does that end up making our mustangs just wild ponies? And Native Americans referred to them as ponies, too.
