I love this blaster, but the one thing ide improve is how loud this blaster is. The grinding, ratcheting, plunger slamming while you aim down the sights.
Theres a jam door on the back, the scar it comes with messes with the accuracy, its better without it and even better with a 3d printed scar. It also has a short mag quick release lever above the trigger.
Yea I went to a game the other day and somebody showed me the jam door and mag release, I had no idea! I haven’t checked but he said the thumb mag release only works with the adapter it comes with, something about a special notch the others don’t have
This is definitely going to be my first high performance “nerf” blaster. It’s so affordable compared to some others and still delivers great performance.
Got mine in UK today in Smyths (apparently they didn't add it to the website so can't order online but is on the shelves, odd) and they have no rattle on the iron sights at all, they are easily removable, but you can flail them around and they won't move past the notch they are on, seems US batch is a lemon as lots of people had this issue already.
Interesting! Yea it’s a bit of a weird issue. Guess it’s a manufacturing tolerance thing as I haven’t had that issue with any other blaster that uses those size rails lol

SO, seven months later i finally grabbed one for myself. As a comparison to your video, the sights on mine don't move freely and are nice and tight. The scar also appears to engage with the bullet a little more. So it appears that x-shot has either improved its production tolerances or the rifles for the EU market come from a different assembly line.
My 8 year old was able to prime and fire this, though the kid on the box has a bit of top lip bumfluff, suggesting young teen. Overall I think it's an excellent blaster, especially for $30, and available on the shelves in the UK unlike the Adventure Force and most other short dart options. Yes the plastic is a bit thinner than say the Aeon Pro, but it's a bigger blaster and you're going to get more hits, faster, at a longer range, using this. It stands up well against all the short dart under-primed blaster I tested it against I(Nexus, Ceda S, Stryker) including the new Dartzone Pro Mk4 which is 6 times the price.
Advice: DO NOT overload long dart magazines with the Longshot. Most mags can easily take one extra dart over its stated capacity, and most blasters can handle it with no trouble. The Longshot, *doesn't.* It's an almost guaranteed jam.
Honestly tho! And with cheap upgrades you can have a competition ready blaster for less than a gameface trion. The trion while excellent is over 100. You can get a longshot and 30$ of upgrade parts and be good to go for 60$ total

I have many double feeding issues whit this rifle but I bought it on amazon in eu so maybe there are differences with the walmart version (edit:this comment is bs i put 20 rounds whit the full and half length darts instead of 15 but i have still issues)
Hey rocket my sites are not experiencing the same problems with them coming off super easily maybe different tolerances or different production processes because I got mine about 3 weeks ago from today (February 3rd 2023)
Interesting! Yea I could have gotten a lemon in that regard. I know a lot of the early ones were having issues with the plunger tubes cracking too. Mine was fine aside from the sites, so that may have been the next thing they fixed on the later production runs. Cool to see it get better over time!
In your case the term would be a marksmen (at x yards, depending on what distance u graduated at) rather than a "good shot" On nerfers experienced plunger failure by it cracking, even unmodded.. The consistency is allegedly due to the darts rather than the blaster itself. What is your take and experience on both of these problems?
Mine has been flawless, even with heavy use as it’s my primary for games, but I ve had people on this video saying theirs cracked after very limited use. I’m skeptical that the darts are to blame as adventure force and Xshot darts tend to be pretty good and play well with most blasters. I’m wondering if the lower price point was due to cheaper internals and lower quality control standards. I think the company has done well in regards to damage control with replacing the parts on peoples blasters that broke, but they shouldn’t have had to do that in the first place. It really hurt the blasters reputation as it’s a fantastic product at a great price point but it’s like rolling the dice if you get a perfect one or a lemon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they change the internals slightly and rerelease it as a improved version kinda like how nerf did with the elite line with the recon to retaliator.
@@rocketcoffinstudios you convinced me to get 1, and im very pleased with it. Not sure if its a European version or whatever, but its downgraded to 66ft lol. So got upgraded springs (9kg and 14kg) and metal plunger coming this week and see how those work. Even with those added costs, its still a steal
@@triax7218 There are indeed two versions being sold in Europe. One for inferior countries like Germany (for ages 6+, rated for about 20 meters) and another for superior countries like Spain (for ages 14+, rated for about 40 meters). I guess you got a German blaster.

Mine got the stock spring (for wars), a weak spring (that gets around 120, for HvZ), and a K25 + extra barrel (which is -UN PUTO MONSTRUO- around 250, for -when I'm firing at my daughter's prospective boyfriends- target practice). Plus a nice padded carrying case for all the accesories. Customizing the thing right before a game is half of the fun.
It’s an airsoft revolver I painted up to be the ranger sequoia from fallout new Vegas. It has “against all tyrants” carved into the side with a soldering iron. The other side reads “for honor+service”

I just bought my x shot longshot and I hate it, for $30 you can just buy an Aeon pro, or the Deuce pro. the worst part about the blaster is the really shitty plastic used. Xshot pick up your game with the plastic
I got 2 of these yesterday I’m already returning them as they kept jamming to the point that the bullets would be destroyed, I don’t know what was wrong with mine and I’m so sad about if
@@rocketcoffinstudios I can make an educated guess that he used long dart mags filled to top capacity (which is, honestly, the standard for the hobby). Doing that is an almost guaranteed jam for this blaster. Or maybe he tried raming all 20 darts in the 15 dart mag -(I can personally testify not to have done that mistake myself, not deluded in any way by the fact it comes with 20 darts, and not being decieved by how its Nerf Wiki page used to say it was a 20 rounds mag before it was fixed. Nope, not at all, Never ever did that. Honest!).-
Yea I’ve heard people having issues with some of the internals, it seems like they didn’t have the best quality control. Supposedly you can contact dartzone and they ll replace the part or the blaster not entirely sure which
Yeah people been saying and even on the website says 20 darts and a 20 round clip....but if u look at the clip it says m-15-l. Super suspicious haha I've yet to fit 20 in a mag.....hahaha js....anyone else notice this
