Tuvia , Zuz and Asael are great heroes. I watched the Defiance movie and got to know about us. I first watched the movie in 2011 and I watched it today again. I am from Sri Lanka . Entire man kind should appreciate what they did. !

@@dm3199 Polish collaborations with the Germans in annihilation of Jewish people will not be forgotten. It's been well documented Polish people stole the homes, and possessions of Jewish people who were deported to ghetto's then on to be murdered. The Polish police assisted the Germans as well as locals in rounding up and picking out Jewish people. How do you think Germans knew who was Jewish they had no idea with the expectation of orthodox Jews. When the small numbers of Jews returned to their homes poles had moved in ran them off stole their homes.

reading the comments I see antisemitism run strong still which I knew but it's very sad to see it here. these were brave men some of the great heroes of their time. I personally am glad these videos exist and are here for us all thank you for making them public. even if antisemitic people watch and comment it doesn't matter.
I like hearing all the testimony from the holocaust survivors from shoah foundation. So much first hand knowledge I was unaware of. And yes I have become very aware of strong antisemitism in certain European countries. Some are worse than the German people, (excluding nazi's)

Historian Kazimierz Krajewski lists other incidents in which Bielski partisans were involved, in addition to the surprise attack against a Home Army unit in December 1943 after it had signed an agreement of cooperation with Soviet partisans, in which over a dozen Home Army soldiers were murdered, and in following days 50 more were killed. In May 1944 the village of Kamień, in Stolpce, was attacked by a force involving Bielski partisans; 20 Home Army soldiers and 20 civilians were killed. In May 1944 a unit of the Ordzhonikidze sub-group of the Bielski partisans, together with Soviets, murdered 47 Poles in the Lidaregion, in Filonowiec and Dokudowa, mainly civilian families accused of supporting the Polish Home Army.[2]
