Thank you for your comment. I went in Kabarovsk back in 2006, this is when I spotted a few Dalavia aircraft IL62, and TU204 & 154. I came in the middle of winter by minus 25, far to cold for me, but friendly people, and I remember all the Ice statues in the park as well ;-)
I've saved this Video as i've got this kit in my stash, I've got pretty much all the Zvezda airliner kit's that i like, They really are top notch quality for the money, I put them up with the likes of Tamiya in detail and quality for half the price!
muchas gracias for su commentario. Mi allegro mucho si lo encuentra util, ya que me este es me primer objetivo. He estado haciendo modelo desde que era un niño, y siempre me gusta compartir esta pasión. Saludos desde grecia esta vez... ;-)
Very nice model of the IL-62M. You mastered the cockpit windows masking problem really well. On my IL-62M I used commercial window masks and screwed up completely. The wash with pigment seems a very good idea. I always have trouble removing the wash when I forget to remove it in time and will try out your solution. PS. in the ninetees I flew on an Cubana IL-62M from Vienna via Gander to Havann. This aircraft was a beast of a machine. No onboard entertaining system at that time ;-)
I flew on the 154A & M back in those days, also on the Yak 42 in Ukraine... quite basic I have to say. No overhead bin, only nets like in the train... but the 62 via Gander it's is quite epic, and on very journey... For the weathering, I also have some issue to remove the excess wash, specially on the grey colours, you will see on the CRJ700 on 1/72 later on this year. Thank you for watching and commenting, it's always a pleasure to read you
Zvezda has became my favorite brand for airliner models, they are far better than all the other brand, and they produce as well all those Russian airliners who were long time forgotten.
