New roads on Watopia. Always good news. Would like to have seen a northern connector road between the coastal road and the bypass road (see 1.01 top right). That'd give a whole new range of flat and hilly loops.
I can't imagine standing up for that amount of time. That is just torture if your RPM is low enough that you have to do that. Luckily my gearing is doable for that. Depending on how you look at it, what you can do is right before it adjust your trainer difficulty down right before the section in the menu. You can think of it as shifting all your gears down one and still allow you to pedal at an RPM to complete it.
That's fine... but it seems Zwift doesn't really see the big picture. The app has basically not evolved in the past 5 years. Actually, I would say it's getting worse. The graphic are still so catastrophic. If you intend to race at an A level, be ready to have to race again people that are better than the best world tour riders. Numerous times have I seen guys that can push (according to ZwiftPower) more than 7w/kg for 20 minutes. I've notified this of Zwift for months. Nothing changes. It's possible that normal riding around is better than it used to be. But regarding racing, it's ridiculous (I race at Conti / Pro Conti level). I can assure you that cheating in Zwift is rampant and Zwift does nothing about it. As soon as there will be a serious competitor, Zwift will either have to keep up or die. They just benefit from the fact that the competitors aren't any good
So i think i screwed it up. For reference i have the zwift one hub. I didnt have virtual shifting enabled so i was in gear 15 for the whole thing. I could only make it 4 segments before i was dead in the water. So...i was supposed to be shifting, wasnt i?
Question. I completed the bag that badge challenge but did not get the route badge for Queen Highway After Party route badge. Are you aware of any problems with this issue? Thanks for your time.
I updated this morning and then tried to ride Coastal Crown. The route was totally broken. It started me at the wrong place and sent me in the wrong direction. I went along the coast and out through the desert. I re-entered the route several times with the same issue. I hope this is just me and Zwift haven’t released something with bugs in it! They wouldn’t do that would they? Lol!
@@gplama People do love their PRs a little too much... If they'd done this the other way around (i.e. increase speeds from before), people would probably love it 😛
I cancelled our two zwift accounts when they raised the price a month or so ago. Just couldn't justify $40 per month for it any longer during months that we can ride outside. Not sure if I will pick it back up again in the winter or not.
My wife, who has almost zero interest in Zwift, but loves llamas, was suitably impressed with the start of this video. Maybe I can finally be allowed to move my turbo upstairs...
3 days rollout its the most stupid thing ever... just make it available to all at the same time... why the heck have to wait 2 days more than other users...
@@gplama - Writing seems on the wall- the felt MyWhoosh expenses for the owner are nothing compared to felt operating expenses for the owners of Zwift. Sadly, just more Sport Washing with a seemingly bottomless budget to cull the competition.
@@Justnothankyou132 Exactly- imagine paying £4.50 a week here in the UK for something I'll use for 10-12 hours a week....very good value, losers pay more than that for a pint of the devils piss....
@@andrehufschmid the only thing I care about is for people to know that there are free apps if they are looking for new routes :-) Indivelo, VirtuPro, Mywhoosh , or GTA5bike. Take your pick.
I don't pay for Zwift right now but staggered release keeps their bandwidth costs down. TBH I'd rather they do things like that and survive rather than collapse.
How do they decide who gets it first? Level achieved? Time subscribed? Regional status?Yeah I'm going away tomorrow afternoon and wouldn't mind trying Elevation Evaluation before but that's not gonna happen....
@@ArdGeal total speculation but sometimes the easiest answers are right - they have not bothered coding up any such prioritisation system and it's random.
@@specialblorb How do you know, do you work for Zwift? And Zwift is not Apple, nowhere close. Currently 7700 people online, why not let the people down load the update when they sign in? It will be phased out anyway, why limit the people that ride daily on Zwift. This is just absolutely shitty move on Zwifts end. Point.
I can’t say I’m that bothered. I just logged in for a ride, it wasn’t there, I did climb portal instead. I’ve seen so many new routes over my last 7 years on zwift I don’t get excited any more
