With the legs completely toasted had many doubts if this was a good idea. The pace started calm until the first little climbs. Stayed with the front and felt good. When was thinking that after all this wasn’t such a bad idea got hit by the real climbs. Legs faded and couldn’t keep up pace. Lost the front of the race and had to fight to catch the second group. On the second climb group shattered again and was an iTT to the line. Finish 4th. Very unhappy with my legs.
