Thanks for this video. It inspired me to put Auxbeam T-10 L.E.D.s in the running lights position on my ZX-14r, which I call the white beast. She looks better than ever, and safer too with the much brighter L.E.D. running lights. Ride safe!
This is not a dig on anyone. But I have a "garbage in, garbage out" philosophy. This applies to just about anything that I purchase. People often think that if you buy an LED light from manufacturer A. for $5 for a large quantity, that it's the same *quality* as manufacturer B. at $15 for 2 LED bulbs, and manufacturer B. is just 'ripping you off'. This is categorically incorrect. You can apply this philosophy to anything from toilet paper to cars. Toilet paper manufacturers can screw you with the number of plys, the width of the toilet paper, or the thickness of the spool at the core. But they'll trick you into thinking you're getting "the same amount" as the more expensive brands. Car manufacturers use similar tricks. They use thinner sheet metal, fewer coats of paint, cheaper materials, etc. So, long story short; the reason for the "flickering" in the cheap 'bulk bag' of $5 bulbs, could very well be cheap materials used, and or poor (or no) quality assurance in manufacturing. I'd much rather buy the expensive (reliable) perts once, and only have to install them once, than buy cheap, and have to keep reinstalling, every 6 months or every year. You get what you pay for. "Buyer beware."
