Ziki's eliminator was a discovery and an influence for me (if you havent heard it yet, go n do it ;) ). At the High Damage's begginin there are those progressive liquid oniric sounds, kind of this one. How i love them so much. Very enjoyable musical landscapes.
Lots of producers still do :) The club scene is coming back in (all be it with a different type of trance) and Trance is getting vastly more popular! Psy-trance will never get the recognition it deserves (what with the idea of persistent use of 'drugs' being a stigma) But... it would be nice to hope! :) Amazing track!
epic, cant stop listening to it. i dont think they can make stuff like this anymore. trance got forced into making to much of it to soon and then being phased out by pop. shame the world of music works this way? imagine stuff like this was today's charts? pubs would reopen and the club scene would be back in swing.
I agree. Also I think that psychedelic sound can't be mainstream yet, because psychedelic experience itself is not accepted and wanted by mainstream. especially not by people in charge of musick companies, stations etc
sure we don't want :) but if you ask random people about 'trance' i think they will say you names like Tiesto or Armin Van Buuren.. so the word itself has been hijacked by commercial hand wanting to keep ego trip game going. state of trance is going beyond ego, transcendenting ego, entering oneness, merging all your parts of being.. you know the story :) imho that can't be commercialized
sleepsurfsex Well, the song is as good as any other psytrance diddy could be, but even after listening to it again it's not dead at 9:30, it's dead at 7:30!! Seriously, why upload a track that has almost 4 mins of silence? Generally, I'm listening to these as a constant stream (muting during those annoying ads (*cough* PRO acct. *cough*) between songs) so when I'm listening to audio awesomeness, then back to the humdrum chatter of the office for the last 4 mins, it's not good. Easily fixed by a replacement upload.
Depends on the club. Some of the best times I've had listening to trance has been in clubs. Pubs no, does anyone listen to trance in pubs? Serious question.
