@@stone5against1 It's a Glasgow thing, the "young team" is a gang of teenage boys who run about together to get drunk, fight other young teams and commit petty crimes. Almost every part of Glasgow (and a good chunk of the surrounding towns) have had their own young teams. It's kind of similar to (but not the same as) the English chav in some ways.

My favorite is how Boba is such an outlier as a youngling and as an American. She's basically the resident Yogscast fangirl, knows more of the lore and classic moments memorized better than a lot of us do, and I'm convinced she got her job because of that.

Fun fact. There was a comic that had an “evil” eye doctor trying to get Clark to confess that he was Superman. He saw that Clark’s glasses were not real ones and strapped him to an electric chair. Of course Superman saw with his X ray vision that it was hooked up to just a battery that would just tickle him. The doctor wasn’t really going to prove it by killing him to prove it, just wanted to get him to confess, but Clark got real prescription glasses after that.

@@alex_runarinIf Superman has 20/20 vision, (and assume his vision doesnt adjust to be perfect even with the glasses on) and wore glasses with a mild prescription, he would see what a regular person that needed that prescription sees when they dont wear them.

Canonically, his glasses were never for vision improvement, they are an amplifier for his hypnosis vision that brainwashes people into seeing Clark differently than he really looks. He even went on TV for a news report once just so he could have the brainwashing broadcast to as many people as possible. The lenses came from the Kryptonian plexiglass window of the rocket that sent him to Earth. That's also why they don't melt if he uses his laser vision through them.

20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet. If you have 20/20 vision, you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. 30/20 implies superman has worse vision!

Alright, new role idea: The Scotsman. Like the Christmas elf, but spreads Scottish Pride instead, even to non-Scots. While being spread, a pipe and drum rendition of Scotland the Brave plays and when fully spread, the screen has a transparent overlay of the Scottish flag, similar to the french randomat.

I'm not even a DC person and I know that the only reason that Superman only wears his glasses because they're redlined and it helps with his x-ray vision because x-rays can't penetrate lead, though. Now that I think about it, I don't think that's how it works.
