I started watching zyzz when i was 19, i’m 31 now. His legacy has still holds a long lasting impact on my life to always be a sikkunt. I used to idolize the guy, i wanted to be just like him. But as i got older i realized his whole message was to be unapologetically yourself, not exactly like him. He taught me that’s it’s ok to be a little goofy and a little weird. So i always come back to this to help remind myself how far i’ve come. Never will i give up on the gym or trying to better myself. Zyzz is in all of you, ya just don’t know it yet.

Zyzz i was a fat piece of shit (age 12,13,14) . I came across you and your legacy... i was inspired and motivated but not diciplined. I made steady progress. I was born around the same time as Zyzz and recently went back to finish university. I was shocked to learn how many guys 18-22 know who Zyzz is. They either have Zyzz Spotify playlists or joke and do the Zyzz pose. I thought one day his legacy might slowly fade but if anything it's gotten 10x more influential.

I was at an all time low recently. I've had a crippling porn addiction and, whilst I managed to land a good job I just felt sort of neutral about everything. Smoked weed, vaped, even smoked despite being against it basically all my life and, jokes aside, all these clips of Zyzz and seeing this beautiful community around bodybuilding really resparked something in me. I've decided I'm finally going to do something about it. I went through all my files and deleted every piece of porn I could find... it was hard but knew it was for the best. I won't let this fucking cloud blind out the sun beyond any more. There is world of wonder out there just waiting for me to see and I'm damn well going to do everything to embrace the life I've been blessed with. I don't usually comment but I'm going to pull through. These fucking chemicals aren't going to control me any more Wish me luck brahs. There's a long road ahead of us but we can pull through together!!

Here's some internet history and Zyzz's part in it; What people don't remember or don't know today is Zyzz had all parts of the internet in years 06-11 entranced with his charisma and overly confident persona. It wasn't just the fitness junkies; From the golden generation of 4chan users to the clueless facebook normies, communities completely opposite one another, all in awe bc noone had seen anything like Zyzz on the internet before. His behaviour and presence seemed so outlandish for the time that eventually it became mythical how he carried himself and even more so as he began responding to the people that flipped the usual poser/douchebag card on him. The guy came off as a complete tool but as he spoke his opinions made sense and you couldn't help but relate and sympathize and eventually become a fan yourself. After he passed away all of this became elevated to the point where everyone felt like Zyzz truly achieved legendary status. Blessed to have lived through the internet of the time.

I remember being a kid more than 12 years ago...starting to train and getting to know Zyzz...His death hurt me a lot. Today so many years later, I'm getting back to the gym, I hope I don't let you down, you will be proud of me Zyzz. RIP KING.

I’m at 26 year old going through heart failure at the minute, I found him in 2010 and made it my life, benching 140 for sets and 200 max, taking shit to get big and living with the yolo lifestyle, 2019 off all drugs, get in a relationship find someone that loves you, well now no gf and heart failure, started back to the gym after a year off after being told I can’t or it will kill me, first video I came back to, we start again (natural) were all gonna make it brah 😊

When I’m about to fail that last rep I call Zyzz. He’s my spotter.

Last week i hit 60kg first time in my life. That was at night time on a full stomach. This morning i woke and weighed myself and was 60.5kg. This time 2 month ago i was 53-56kg. I turn 17 soon and have been going ham at the gym for the past month. More confident than ever 💪🏻

I don’t know zyzz, but I like the resurgence of his legacy. I am a fat slob, but I now regularly go to the gym. I never thought I can have a Greek god body, but now at least I have the motivation to make an effort.

Zyzz inspired a generation of lifters to workout and live life to the fullest. There is nothing more noble than helping other people and making their lives more enjoyable. It doesn't matter if there is a culture of "douchebags" and "bros"! He helped guys come out of their shells and became a legend.
