Legendary chemistry between all 3 band members! You can tell they really enjoyed playing together! This is them at the Top of their game, fantastic, crazy, and cool!
True Legends! 12 at that time, recall hearing the sound of this powerful trio for the first time on the radio, revolutionary to me. so different, so fresh, could not be cooler... Made you want to grow a beard so bad... On pouvait sortir quelques bonnes émissions musicales à l'époque sur la télé française.... those days are defineltly gone... I miss You Dusty!
@@dustzza123 CCR was a trio for only one album, and with the exception of only one song, "Sweet Hitch-Hiker".....an absolutely terrible album, and it proved to be their undoing. What a magnificent band to come crashing down like that.🎸
Too see ZZ Top in 1983 on their Eliminator tour was the epitome of cool. I saw them at the Kingswood Music Theatre near Toronto, Quiet Riot opened the show. That was rock and roll baby!
This is what happens when you sell out to a foreign TV, air performance !! Billy isnt even playing on the right fret, solo' in the dark, vocals 2 feet away from the mic with his face turned . But barring that i have seen them 9 times live My favorite band 3 times over !!
ZZ top was probably the first band to play with tracks live, either that or they are hiding a keyboard player under the stage. I saw them live one time and they did have a keyboard player side stage playing stuff, but pretty interesting setup. Love this band
Man thank you so much this is so amazingly awesomely awesomeness! We do cover heaps of they set list here in South Australia 🇦🇺 love ZZTop so much ! I’ve got that same exactly hat
Man Dusty was such a fucking killer vocalist!! Billy is too of course!! Its just so cool that both of them have HUGE songs they sing on... So awesome. I remember the first time I heard Tush and La Grange.. did know it was the same band lol 🤣🤣 now that's when u know its special
WoW..... what else is there to say after hearing guitar sounds like that. Billy noticably a bit heavier here.... nearly as heavy as Dusty. lol Billy obviously was putting away the mexican food in '83. What an awesome guitarist. R. I. P. Dusty 🇨🇱Hill
At one of their Houston shows they had east-west and west-east conveyors on the stage. But I can't find any videos to back that up. Anyone else have that recall?
@@phillipriggs3375: You're very welcome Phillip...I was there at the Summit in Houston + saw em two more times using the belts...I was blown smooth away at how cool it looked...Genius...They used em in 90-92...Cheers my fellow ZZ fan...
Back when people were waiting 10 mos for a new 3rd gen Z28 to show up from the factory and the Summit wasnt a fake church it was the church of rock lol
Yeah,Dusty pulled the Derenger out of his boot, dropped it and the gun went off.He was hit in the abdomen. He was rushed to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury. I bet Dusty didn't think so,watcha wanna bet? I have read he will bet on just about anything.I wish I had that kind of money!!!
