Question: I reconnected with a junior from secondary school about 5 days ago. We have been talking. She is Godly so far as I know and base on how I remember her. I want to take her serious and do it in a God honouring way. We plan to meet in 5 days time. I don't think I am ready in the next 1 year but working on myself. Am I doing it right? Or should I wait till I am ready (i.e earn much more, settle my younger ones and parent and master my desired skill)? I really need answers before we meet so I know how to tune our interactions. I have seen a lot of saddness and abuse, encouraged by religious men. Men use religion as another tool on their belt of "the game" to acquire attractive women and subjugate them. It is pure evil to bare false witness, and use Gods name to excise violence against your spouse and children. I have never found it easier to stay single in my life watching my sisters be used and abused, then disgarded for a younger model after the kids are gone. 100% lustful life of fornication with these fake christian dudes. Coming to christ after marriage and now for the last few years, being in an unequally yoked marriage, my husband is not capable yet, but out of my own repentence, faith, prayer, reading of the scriptures, and the slow changes God is making in me, i am filling that role as much as i can, God is slowly softening my husbands heart and i believe with all of my being, God will continue His good work in me, my husband, our four children and our lives.
Ihave been married for 57+ years. My husband claimed to be a Christian and was very active in church. But slowly he changed. He had outbursts of anger and bizarre beliefs. But my misery drove me to my knees. I surrendered to the Lord and received His Holy Spirit. I lost everyone. We adopted 8 kids from treatment foster care ,all had been abused. My husband got worse. 2 years ago his heart and BP went bad. They had him tested for sleep apnea. He had it severely. I discovered that SA cause the white matter of the brain to slowly be damaged by the lack of oxygen. It also damages the heart. Not one of us knows why someone behaves as they do. I suffered all those years not understanding. I cried and complained to the Lord. He drew me nearer. He never burped me , but corrected my attitude. He taught me He is Lord of my life. Only one adopted child walks in obedience. Two others claim Christianity, but are not faithful. The secretary of the agency became a Christian and is still faithful. My husband is 80 and I am 76. God broke my heart with what breaks His. I endured by His love and power. God allows what He hates to achieve what He loves, obedient servants who will persevere through troubles,trials, and heartbreak and learn to trust Him when you feel broken. I repented of my last few years for complaining . I had not done so before, but the pressure increased so much I weakened. He brought me out of it, and even had my husband tell me that He has always seen the Savior in me. He had to hold me to stop me from falling. Don’t give in,give up, or give out. God knows what we need. He has ordained our steps to teach us to endure the fire. To help us to stand up and lift up our heads. This short sermon of Paul Washer’s was the best I have ever heard about marriage. I heard it years ago, and it strengthened me. Your marriage may be a trial, but if you belong to God, Ge will use it to prepare you to be with Him forever. Do not quit.🙏🏻✝️
The wife is to submit to her husband SO LONG as he is following Christ. We are to always choose Christ over any man or woman. And most men in the “churches” have abdicated their role as husband and father and have divorced and remarried their adulteress. The so-called Christian churches in America are filled with adulterers.

Wow! This is GENUENLY the most truthful only dating advice anyone needs!!! Hard truth to swallow!! Concerning his wife since she is gifted why can't she use those gifts to glorify God in writing books and other ways to help others with the wisdom God gave her? Doesn't God have a call on everyone's life? There are many wives and mothers that are still using God's gifts for kingdom projects. I don't understand why she would be upset at her husband for this.
What about the longing feelings for wholesome intimacy like huggings, holding hands, and kissing on the cheeks that come naturally from being attracted to our future mate? Is that considered sexual immorality if it comes from a place of pure, honest, kind, and sincere love and attraction for one another? God gives us natural feelings for attraction, so we shouldn't abstain from those gifts because the progression of a relationship is a beautiful thing, but we must remain in God otherwise we will fall into lust and let our flesh take control of this love that God has given us. Well meaning preacher but I think he’s the kind of pastor that would leave a thousand or more people with unwanted singleness for a lifetime without a second thought about it. Preachers like this are with good intentions creating even bigger problems.
My husband has said, "every since you've had a hysterectomy, I've been married to a man." "Look at all this narcissistic toxicity I have to put up with." I NEED HELP! I want to do the WILL of YAH!
He made a good point , I need more evidence because since I’m not too religious it appears that since I’m not 100% on board religiously or selfless - I will not find any partner “sent by god” . I think he forgot to mention that many people are disadvantaged and maybe unable to find anyone. Things have changed and changing fast in the dating world. If god wants people to not give up in relationships than I will not give up finding one. At least if it doesn’t happen I know I tried and relationships weren’t for me.
