By chance, do you have the shutdown procedure on this aircraft? As a member of an ARFF crew, we have books on it. But 99.98% of us are visual learners...
So do ships follow waypoints too, like planes? I guess I never really thought about this before. In 2014 I went on a tour of my cruise ship, Allure of the Seas by Royal Caribbean. We visited the bridge and I asked the captain about ship traffic control. I remember he said something about us having a set time that we could go into busy ports.
@@JoeDFWAviation yeah they have the equivalent of LNAV, Autothrottle and selected heading hold modes. I believe autopilot is used most of the time between ports to follow shipping lanes (equivalent of airways!), then everything in port is pretty manual. Ports are usually controlled by local traffic services - it’s very similar to tower/ground ATC, with slot times etc. How did you get a bridge tour on Royal? I’ve been on Anthem of the Seas twice and didn’t see it offered
Ok, so I said that the throttle has issues. Now that is not an issue anymore, but the game crashes during mid flight when I use the plane. Also the plane never reaches cruising altitude, I really hope I didn’t waste $75 on this
@@Sandmanispro8366 seek support from PMDG on their forums. Crashing that is not widely experienced by other users is usually a symptom of an individual hardware or scenery issue. The 777 will usually step climb in VNAV - again, something to share on the forums as they’ll be able to identify the specific issues with your flight plan or configuration.
I thought it only had a function to return it to prevent it from simply departure, but does it also keep it lane centered actively without having to install any other mods??
Hey TJ, I have a Problem with my Thrustmaster TCA Captains pack thrust reversers. They won't work and I calibrated the throttle on the A320neo v2 but they still don't work, do you have a solution?
Love how you make your videos easy to follow! Just beginning to get into the E-Jets and your explanation in one video helped me grasp a lot! Have you done any updated video as there's been some updates with this product.
@@GG_Booboo Glad to hear :) I haven’t updated my video yet, sorry - I was waiting for a more stable / finished product or I’d be making a new video every two weeks 😄 In the meantime, please use the documentation in the pinned comment
Thx for the video. Very good explanations on how to fly this “Famous Crier” of a release. Microsoft should make this freeware until Aeropain Heaven makes a version that’s acceptable as payware. Not a buy for me. Nope. Cheers…
hello tjay . Another great vid for a not so good plane. Anyway I wanted to ask you how did u manage to make ur 707 descend automatically at TOD? Thx for the response. Also do you know if this can perform an rnav approach? Have a nice day
@@French28Pilot it just did - I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or intended behaviour, which is why I also explained how to descend manually. This has the same capabilities as any GA aircraft with a GNS530 - I don’t think that supports RNAV
@@TiJayFLY ok but when u programmed ur flight plan in the world map : DID U EDIT UR CRUISE ALT? What I mean is that when u programme dthe fpl, was the default cruise alt already 26000ft or U edited it and u put 26k ft? Anyway have a nice day again and sorry that u spent ur money on dis man. Were all disapointed.
Friendly reminder - Please don't dislike this video just because the airplane sucks. That doesn't harm Asobo / Aeroplane Heaven, it harms this channel and reduces my ability to demonstrate / warn you about trash like this.
I love this game, is there no way to pack the entire thing as a portable zip? I've tried everything to get it to run and I always get the same error message: Microsoft Flight cannot run because the shader version of your video card does not meet the minimum requirement. your Please review the system requirements on the Microsoft Flight website. The program will now exit. I think it's hilarious that it's implying I don't meet minimum spec with an AM5 / 7900XTX build, rip this game
@@samcecere9924 pretty sure it’s on archive.org now, which should make the install easier. Although I’m not sure that will solve the “spec issue”, ridiculous as it is 😅
Update, I tried on a Windows 7 VM, and I'm getting a different error before the game even launches. "The program can't start because mfc100u.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." and from what I can tell this refers to a Visual C++ dependency issue. Tried installing MS VC++ 2010, didn't change anything
May not be the greatest quality, but I love this plane, like the Concorde, as always thanks for the tutorials man, I wouldn’t be able to fly these planes without you
They should have contracted this aircraft to like PMDG or INIBuilds or someone, anyone, that knows what they're doing... or let WT make it. Anyone other than AH... like damn, the manual shows an FMS not a GNS... Only possible saving grace (lol, doubt it) here is that I've seen some talk that maybe the wrong version was uploaded to the marketplace (as apparently a number of the bugs were supposed to be already fixed a month ago).
PMDG and INIBuilds has enough work on their hands and there was no intention of this to be a study level aircraft. There are still better suited devs to do this plane, freaking CaptainSim could've done better 😂.
Is this plane worth buying? My little brother flies the 787 and learjet 35a in msfs and i wanna surprise him with something, this is cheap and he'll like a classic aircraft, but is this realistic? Like does it has the basic realistic things? Good physics and all? Thanks in advance
Aight, im boutta watch some reviews of it, but i watched some 707 reviews and...... the 707 in msfs sucks so yea, pmdg will make some money today, thanks!
Beats the freeware HJG 707 for FS2004/FSX by at least not requiring you to load default aircraft first then changing to the 707 after loaded. Though Yeah maybe it should've been cheaper.
They could've made it cheaper. But yeah if it somehow got fixed later on I hope its not like the old ahh A310 fms but the more modern A320 style cuz goddamn I cant use the SID/STARS with the former's fms.
@@JoeDFWAviation yeah I have a list of videos for airplanes that are transferable - they’ll be relabelled and reorganised into a 2024 playlist upon release
Slow and steady wins the race, Great vid but I cannot buy this. Not that I do not have the money, 20-30 bucks is not hard earned for me, you lost me at the Engine behavior. It climbs like a NASA rocket due to the fact it was programed to have 4 engines. Even though it shows 2- the power is coming from the mystery engines. Thats why you climb super-fast and have issues with your speed when you descend. Yes, it looks fun, not it's NOT a scam, but it's the WRONG program for the WRONG plane. If it looks like a spade, you call it a spade. If you continue to buy and support things like this, you only get more and more stuff like this. Nice Vid but even after a year - still a 747.
Thanks for the tutorial. I am new to the Boeing. I normally fly the a320. Now I would like you to show me how to set the FCU for the auto pilots. Thanks.
Its good but if i enable AP during cruise it just doesnt do anything and i cant do anything or turn it off. Then when i let go of my controls the plane nosedives and goes crazy.
