If you are focused more on your toe bone recovery, it does help since they will swell up earlier in your youth as required, then you have less rehab moving forward naturally as you age. In my personal experience, I was on the pitch bare feet most of the time with bigger circumference and much harder ⚽️ balls in the golden generation balls in that era. The disclaimer is that it's painful, but the bone and tissues tighten and harden naturally as you age. I would just walk it off. Another disclaimer is that it takes months of rehab " walking the pain off." It's all worth it moving forward.
Don't confuse others. It's matter of preference. And I would say your boots are sligthly too large for your feet. But if you like that, It's ok. But don't pretend your way is some kind of rule.
