PATSY KLINE: "CRAZY" SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY WITH HER EXQUISITE AND BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!! UNIQUE, INCOMPARABLE, IMMORTAL!!!! LOVELY ORCHESTRATION. RIP. TQ KINDLY FOR A LOVELY PRESENTATION!!! 🌹
Jim Krueger wrote this song. I believe he is standing on the right side of the stage on the other 12 string and he sings the high harmonies. He passed away at 43 from cancer. The woman he wrote the song about returned at the end of his life to take care of him apparently. His original version of the song is every bit as good if not better, but his career just never took off to the heights it might have. This song gave Dave his career, and it was great that he had Jim on stage performing with him while he surfed the wave of success. Anyone that can write such a beautiful song and affect people's lives leaves a legacy. This song was in my mind today when I got up. Echoes of my childhood and relevance to my later life. Thanks Jim and Dave.
2024 anyone? As a 20 year old who listens to this type of music (thanks to my grandmother 🤭) people always tell me I was raised right, in music taste at least.
This has always been one of my favorites.. but it's really hitting me hard making me think of my ex wife who passed away yesterday at the age of 37. We been divorced for 2 years now and i never wished anything bad on her and the divorce was messy but so what. I started over left everything I had and bought new clothes and everything. It hurt sure. But there ain't no good guys there ain't no bad guys....we just disagree. Rest in peace 🍭🐻
Patsy was my Mommas favorite. She passed in 2020. We loved singing together. We played all her hits at moms funeral. I held her hand and sang her one more song. This was the one. Happy birthday, Momma. I love you. ❤
I'm listening to this. When music ment something. Not just a beat and rhyming lines. America, Gordon Lightfoot...I could go on Forever. I am a child of the 70's with older brothers and sisters.
Reading The Help and her name and death was brought up. Wanted to hear her music because I have never heard of her before. She has a lovely unique voice. RIP
