I went to the auction in Georgia bought a horse six-year-old. It looked good and real good. It did everything good but when I got it home two days later, it was like it wasn’t ever written or worked with they drug the horse after I got the test done, so that’s why I don’t buy a horse at the auction, what unless it’s a professional
Hey Jonathan, I just wanted to know if you would Monday talk about why you guys ride certain blood lines on quarter horses maybe you don’t I don’t know what works and what are you looking for a good horse confirmation wise and thank you you’ve been an inspiration to me thank you so much
Thank you so much, Jonathan. I really appreciate it. Just wanted to reach out. I have old Hollywood done at mayors Mr. gunsmoke mayor. I only have one left that she’s a 30 year old. Also have her daughter and I just spread her to a metallic cat. Maybe I didn’t do it right but it’s worth a try, I also have a 2 1/2 year old Palomino metallic and something else. I can’t remember a pan but you inspire me so much to keep riding. I’m 65 now and I’m still on the saddle. Thank you for all the information. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Thank you.

What about being consistent and what I mean is making sure you ride that horse every day slowly to build up to what you want I always find out being consistent at the Horses even so I would just walk it around a little bit maybe lunch a little bit being consistent helps
What about big circles and small circles? I’ve been doing this for a long time. Big circles and small circles. Not real tight circles just enough to make them understand which direction you are going and is actually slowed them down a little bit. I’ve been working on this for almost 3 years and it’s been very successful.
I always believe in light or flex flex left, and right that as you sent it to my training, most people start them off with little treats wrong idea, cause they’ll always be looking in your pocket make the rest. The treat make them relax, their treat, but a lot of liable flexion on the neck will help them be sort in the face. I worked with a guy named John and he always taught me big circles small circles a lot of flexion when the horse gets a little tied, he want to stop and then you let him relax always know when your horses tired give him time to regroup that part for another story, Cutting horses are a little bit different and training thenHorses, but they’re basically the same type of Horses
I also found out that is the side of where the baby hangs out of the mother when she’s feeding him look at the side that he is on all the time that’s how you know and it seems to be 100 times good information. Thank you for all your information. I’ve learned so much from you, my last name is JR Lopez
I can tell when my horses are left-hand or right hand horse I don’t know how to explain it, but when I get on the bag in the minute, I thought long Totton or open I know automatically what they are or the direction that they decide to go on it’s hard to explain, but I do know because I’ve been writing since I’m 12 years old and I am now 65 still on a horse I have Cutting horses and Raining Horse
I have so much trouble with mine, he is so spooky and panics alot, i didn't get him till he was 4 yrs and had nothing done at all, So always feel on the back foot with him. He bolted and crashed into a big steel gate and broke my hip. So not keen to do that again, So he sits in the paddock doing nothing. :-(
Love this guy your video is great. My horse has swollen tendons and it took me two different trainers showing me how to do it and watch this video and now I know how to do it right I could I get those damn things on for the life of me Thanks for putting this up and thanks for being in my queue to watch it
Don’t love how the horse is pulled behind the vertical, but since reining horses carry their head so low anyways and the horse isn’t being held in that frame for long, I can see how those moments of contact help to re-balance the horse. What brand are those draw reins?
That's a Quarter Horse he is working with. Their height is generally between 14:3 hands to 16:2. A Quarter horse is a shorter heavier muscle and quicker at a short distance horse compared to a TB. A Quarter Horse is an American breed that comes from TB stock. They are a wonderful breed.
