Great information but the presenter speaks way too fast. Please consider speaking at a more normal pace. It is hart to keep pace specially when you describe the technical details. Thank you!
I was just going to say I hope he has noctua on that cooler, and lo and behold he has.. but they aren’t the 3000rpm industrial so I’m still not convinced..
Hello. Thanks so much For the useful video. I want to build a pc for solidworks and i don't know if it's any good or if i have to switch some parts of it so I can have the max value from this price range. Sorry for the late reply, and thanks so much for watching. This seems like a good spec to me, with the right kind of motherboard, power supply and cooling 👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching, and thanks for the comment as well. :) We noticed that a few people have mentioned dual monitors working on the free version, and we thought it may have been a new feature that's been added since we made this video, but I think it might actually be Video Clean Feed that's the difference. To clarify, are you able to use your second monitor for Video Clean Feed? Basically a full screen preview of the video without any other interface elements. From what I can tell, this feature is exclusive to the paid version, or at least it was at the time we made this video. We're planning on making an updated video either way, but it would be very useful to know if the free and paid versions are now entirely the same in this area. Thanks again for your feedback!
Hi there, thanks so much for watching, and glad to hear the RTX 2050 is suitable for your needs. As we mentioned in the video, Autocad itself can be run with relatively minimal hardware, but you may want to consider newer, higher performance components for other reasons. This includes futureproofing, parts availability and compatibility, more modern features and greater software stability, and smoother performance in your other software and for general daily use.
You can easily install Autocad LT 2024 & Revit LT 2024 and work smoothly on intel i3 3rd generation processor. I have tested it on my Dell Laptop and 100% working. My Laptop specification is given below:- Processor - i3 3227U @ 1.90 GHz. RAM - 8 gb DDR3 @ 1600 MHz. SSD - 500gb SATA, speed of 540 MB/s Read and 500 MB/s Write. Integrated Graphics Card - Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000, 1792 MB VRAM. When I worked on Revit LT 2024, The CPU was working it's maximum base clock speed of 1.89 GHz and usage was around 26% only.

Interestingly enough, the pricing between the two is very similar down here. In this case, you might as well go for the 12GB, but we were referring to the 6GB in this video
Thanks so much for the info - I'm not sure when it changed either, but we also feel that there have been quite a few changes since we made this video, and we're planning on making another video. Thanks again for watching.
Thank you for sharing...I am editing on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) processor-2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 memory-16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 graphics-Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. but the playback performance is bad...what can I do to run a Smoot editing?thanks
Ciao Giovanni, grazie per la visione. We've found that Nvidia is better for Nvidia and AMD isn't quite as stable. In terms of CPU, either would be fine, but we get better performance from Intel.
my 5600x + 3060 ti that i've been rocking for the past two years is doing ok for me as my projects are fairly small scale like single apartment buildings at max. if twinmotion makes new leaps in tech like the recent addition of lumen, will definitely look to upgrade.
Honestly that's not a bad combo and I'd say you don't need to upgrade for a while. Our recommendations are more for users whose current systems aren't suitable for any kind of CAD software, or companies that are looking to expand.
Asus X670E Extreme/Hero and MSI X670E ACE/GODLIKE split their lanes from x16/x0 to x8/x8 and because they're pcie5, gpus are gonna work at their full power

Will 32gb of ram be sufficient as the bare minimum for large scale project (>10gb of textures) with good enough gpu and cpu (4080 laptop with i9 13900hk), or is it simply isn't enough and 64gb is a must? Thanks
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. Basically DDR5 performs better on 2 sticks than 4. At the time of recording, for 128GB was only available as 4 sticks of 32GB, but you could get 96GB from 2 sticks of 48GB. Very recently there's been news of 64GB modules of DDR5 desktop RAM, meaning we could get 128GB RAM on 2 sticks and an absurd 256GB on 4.
@@ModenaComputers I'm always having the impression that asus has the best motherboard(10 years ago), my decade old laptop is still working but newly bought asus products are no longer of quality, especially after reading reviews on asus, it's no longer feeling the same. Who do you think has the best reliability today? Gigabyte?
I have tried different stuff with TM 2023. I have a ryzen 9 5900x 64gb of ram 2tb nvme m.2 samsung drive And i tried 2 solutions for GPUs 1. 3050 ti-runs the program quite nicely, you can do some good path traced renderings (4k not so mutch). It runs very smoothly but has problems when pathracing and exporting because of the VRAM mind i didnt know mutch about the program then. 2.I tried going AMD as the next option and i bought an AMD 6800 16gb as I have seen that the minimum VRAM was 12 gb and i thought it will run well. But I've had a lot more problems with it then the 3050ti. The path tracer 2x longer at high setting, exporting very long and a lot of crashes, video exporting was impossible at 4k 60 frames,it worked on lower resolutions and lower frame rates. I tried basicly everything-overclocking,undervolting and everthing that i could and it didnt work. I have ordered a 4090 before the new year and im waiting for it to arrive.I'm in some bigger projects now (architecute) and i need, a fast worklflow without any laggs and my pc freezing up due to lack of memory or something else. If you don't have any other solution buy an AMD card it works but know that it is going to be slower.
@@miloseviczoran0 Zorane, hvala puno na komentaru. Ja se poslednje vreme dvoumim izmedju rtx 3090 i AMD RX 7900 XTX... Studiram arhitekturu i 3D dizajn me interesuje u istoj meri kao i konstrukcija objekta.
Honestly it would have blown my mind in 2016 that this would be possible in a desktop. Even more impressive that it should be possible in regular Ryzen systems soon
If possible, we'd recommend the RTX 4060 Ti, but a 3060 would still be great. RTX 3060 was actually our standard recommendation for entry-level Twinmotion performance last year - note that when we say entry-level, we mean for smooth performance in reasonably large projects, rather than simply being able to run the software. Best of luck!
I can't imagine how large of a project you'd have to be rendering to need two 4090's. I'm running on a 4060ti, 13500 and 64 gb RAM and I'm exporting in 4k ultra settings and high RT in under 20s in a project that's about 2 by 2 city blocks up to 28 story buildings. My entire set-up cost less than a 4090 and I can't imagine a few seconds of render time being worth double the price 😐
Hi there, images are one thing, but video is another. Try exporting a 1min 4K 60FPS video with path tracing on and see how long it will take. Add 360 degree's to that and you would be looking at days with a 4060Ti. 🙂 Every person has different requirements and budgets, which is why we try catering to everyone.
Could we get a parts list and overall cost for this? I'm planning on building my first PC having had a bunch of prebuilds so far. (I could Cannibalize some parts from the pre-built for ram, cooling and airflow potentially)
While we wouldn't recommend this as a first PC, we can say that it cost over R 150 000 (~$8000). It featured a high-end WRX80 motherboard, an RTX 3080 Ti GPU, high-speed Corsair RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Feel free to email us for guidance on a first PC that would suit your budget and use-case
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. The 13700K is much more powerful, especially if the 13700K is overclocked as recommended. Please note that this requires a Z-series motherboard (e.g., Z790).
