Agreed, having good punish also makes your neutral more threatening since you could take their whole stock off one opening, so opponents will play more careful or scared. If you make part 2 of this vid, could I request video about playing out of disadvantage/out of the corner as falcon? Like what kind of options can be good to get back to center.
@@ssbmgosu4990thank you!!! i remember cookbook mentioning (invincible) ledgehop first hit nair but whenever i have hit it they just up b again from the same position, i need to try it more though
Is there any websites where people upload their save states? For falcon matchups. I saw a website from a couple years ago but the website was no longer accessible
Tysm for the vid! For part 2, my request is a situation when fox recovers low with up-B and rides the wall on FD/dreamland/yoshi's/FOD and I'm grabbing ledge. I try to bair and stomp from ledge but the fox sweet spots to ledge and doesn't get hit. I've heard rising single hit nair from ledge can work but seems like it'd depend on the angle of the up-B.
How did it feel on 3f with this ping? Also what is your posture while playing? Do you have a split box or are you half box half gcc? I'm just confused where your hands are lol
Tbh slippi feels very weird recently. Don’t know if it’s new UCF or something else. Many inputs are getting eaten up but that also happens when I play unranked. Like it’s not a high ping thing usually the inputs always get through
@@ssbmgosu4990 might be a shot in the dark, but maybe it has to do with n-key rollover? In rhythm games i used the PS/2 Port for that reason instead of USB because it eats up inputs as soon as you press to many buttons at once. edit: at 6:49 you can see the double jump "airwaves" right after you jumped. If that wasn't intended, maybe its some kind of key bouncing? Common occurence on rubber dome keyboards.
@@Killzone626 never had any issues just started recently with the new ucf thing - Many pro players struggle with issues now on netplay I think its a slippi thing tbh
Ive also seen wizzy run off stage before they have a chance to up-b and bait them to side-b on stage, then hes already double jumping back on stage to stomp their landing lag
Sick video, thanks for making it! Would be sick if you had the save state file to share so that we could practice against the same fox inputs. 🔥 Excited for part 2
this is great because not only is Gosu obviously a n0ne fan, but he knows melee enough to see everything n0ne is doing right, but n0ne is still impressive enough that he can't be stopped anyway
@@ssbmgosu4990 yeah you guys were tech chasing surprisingly well, really impressive. Isnt it more difficult to react to things in general, online with that kind of ping? I assume countering n0ne with RTC would be easier in person with no lag, but maybe i'm missing something x'D
I feel like as long as the ping is consistent it's okay, you get used to it. It's when it spikes every few seconds is the problem. I'd rather have a consistent smooth 100 than a 45~50 then spiking to like 90 or 120 every 10 seconds
