Spontaneous Vids of things I like to do or offer help with. It's a Mixed Bag of Unrehearsed, One Take "How To" vids or Dirt Bike Riding vids, HoneyBees, Machines, my dog Buddy, etc . Some are just family and friends sharing vids... I'm not a professional camera man or editor...I have no stage presence or voice...and I know it...lol Thanks for all the Likes. Comments and Subs . A "Like" tells me I helped someone out...and that's why I do it. I'm not monetized here so I make nothing from this. If you Like it , hit "Like" and Sub . I appreciate it !
To make the verify option after the image is created, go to restore and right click on the image file and the option is there. It runs in less than half the time for the image creation. This video was exactly correct all the way through. Just did mine. Thanks again.
you cant run that blade in a regular circular saw. They spin too fast for metal cutting. This saw is geared down to spin slower for cutting steel. You might be able to cut some aluminum with a regular skilsaw and a metal blade but it's not really the right tool. If it were the case, i would have just thrown a metal cutting blade in any one of my three circular saws i already own.
One year later: I did more testing of Red Dot in 45 Auto and 40S&W for the first time. The mission today was to ensure Red Dot loads in 45 Auto and 40S&W would cycle the M&P Shield 45, Kahr CW45 and M&P Shield 40. Bullet weights were 185 in 45, 180 and 155 in 40S&W. All rounds fed, fired and ejected. I also had some 45 loads with 700-X and noticed its recoil was noticeably stronger than the Red Dot loads. I don't have any velocity measuring equipment but based on today's results which are consistent with previous Red Dot testing, I'll continue using it in these calibers. I have other powders for 9mm, 380 Auto and the magnums.
I love red dot. You can pretty much just scoop a 9mm case in and tap a little off the top and stuff a 124 in it. A .7cc dipper is 4.6gr and it's a good hot little load in my carbines.
Good work. I've been using Red Dot in everything from .25 acp to 30-06 (look up "The Load") for many decades. If I had only one powder it'd be Red Dot.
I have the same radio but I don't have the microphone you have, I have a MH-39 Microphone.... Trying to figure out how to turn off the TOT, any ideas ?
Red Dot is my go-to 45 powder. I have not used it with other calibers. Alliant website and current published reload data does not show Red Dot or Green Dot handgun loads; however, the old (1981) Hercules (who marketed Red Dot, Green Dot, Unique, Reloder 7, Bullseye, Herco, Blue Dot, Hercules 2400 prior to Alliant) catalog does have load data for handgun calibers with these powders popular in that time period. Only a few generic 9mm loads are published. For example: 9mm "124 FMC", OAL 1.1", Red Dot 4.0 gr, 1065 f/s, 26,900 cup. Not publishing current handgun loads for Red or Green Dot seems to suggest Alliant is pushing their other powders for handgun reloads reserving the "dots" for shotshells. For the record, they claim Green Dot has a mild recoil which I find this is absolutely the case with any Green Dot load I've tried as compared to say Red Dot. I use Green Dot for my 40S&W loads to help control the '40 flip'.
This feature of the PCB fuse is on a few radios from that era. If ever any radio goes dead completely it’s usually the power circuit and easier to fix than a performance issue like low power out or bad modulation.
@@AvocaSingleTrack I find the diode. The tension came from the antenna there was the burned diode! But your video help me a lot! Now I have to fix the RX. Cheers! LU7GAD
looking for a manual for the yaqin mc-20l, or if you call give me some information. I got new tubes bias them right, but need to know the front panel setup
How much space do you need under your frames? I’ve built one trap before and had quite a bit of space under the frames and they continued building brood comb under the frames and it was a mess. I had like 6-10 inches of extra space. I’m trying to make improvements on my design, but don’t want to waste their efforts. I had 7 frames in total, but they were intent on building down instead of horizontally. So my only question is ho much space is needed under the frames.
You need to be checking your traps ever week to 10 days . Leaving the extra space will make the box more desireable but ...if you let a swarm go for too long then yes, they will draw the frames right to the bottom once they've filled the frames in the top. The alternative is don't leave any extra space below, you'll basically have a 5 frame nuc swarm trap of smaller volume which is less desireable. I've had best success with 5-8 inches dead space below and alternating the frames, Foundation frame front, back and center and the remaining two are foundationless with just string zig zag . This works
As a professional cam op I would suggest a tripod. If you must do hand held do it slower. Good video. Caught one already and have a lot of scouts at another
Does the adhesive add any thickness? I used the same harbor freight matt material and when I wrapped it around the elbow and went to test the fit before gluing the fit was very loose, I purchased the exact same elbow you did?
I also have the VelociRaptor running since 2003, but it's only 74g. Needless to say it has no files on it, only an operating system. It is spec'd at Newegg to run at 1.5GB/s, I don't recall ANY wd Raptor spec'd to run at only 200mb/s... Here's the newegg link to mine. www.newegg.com/western-digital-raptor-wd740adfd-74gb/p/N82E16822136033 Came here to see if my old faithful Raptor is still faster than the standard ssd's (last time I checked about 5 years ago it was), but you have me now looking at the NVMe's. smh lol Thanx. I just ordered a ssd that's spec'd to read at 560mb/s & write at 510mb/s, so I really can't see it being faster than my Raptor. Although the ssd IS faster than the one I tried 5 years ago, unless something else plays a factor in speed I think I'm going to be disappointed when my new ssd arrives. What do you think?
What you saw was real time, unedited. idk what the transfer went at the rate it did. This was just for fun. The larger raptors were definitely faster though.
No need for gloves:) It doesn't sting unless squeezed. I know European hornets well. They will fly around when you let them free but not sting. I feed them on my hand every summer and I don't see a danger at all.
If you want to see what Scouts look like, this is cue'd right to them in my other video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nrMWKADe-lg.html
Great presentation- I cut a strip of Reflectix and use it between the top of the frames and the bottom of the lid - prevents the bees from building onto the lid and keeps the cavity dark
I like that. Good idea ! I use canvas inner covers in my Nucs and Langs. Never thought to try it in the swarm traps, would be the same principal. Tnx for the idea.
Yesss ! Camera is shakey and my camera work is bad...lol . It's an old S6 . This happened in the moment and I captured it. Only missed about the first 30 seconds if it.
Thank you Sir. Hope it helps you catch swarms ! RU-vid is tough, I just like to put out info to help but people want more refined, more produced videos with lighting, editing. I just don't have enough time and if I make quick videos i get hate comments ...lol . i'e , the music in the background was very low but came out loud in this vid. I got so many hate comments about the music ...lol anyway, thanks and good luck !
The ventilation needed depends on where you are and the time of year. So vents with the plugs that can put in or taken out like you have sounds like the best way. That way if the weather is hot you can change the amount of ventilation for the weather.
Yes. That's exactly what these do. They can be removed. They have a few 3/16" holes drilled in them for minimal ventilation while in...I take them out when I catch a swarm.
