If you prefer dials, then the late 22 or 23 models are the ones to go for. 2024 models across the line up of all range rovers and discoverys, the dials are gone, everything is done from the screen. Pain in the butt big time.
@@tracimckinstry8741 yeah I know, I had a 23 model last summer with the dials and love it, and I live with the Range Rover a 22 model with the dials, then I just recently I had a 24 model Sport and the dials were gone! Overall think it looks worse without and loses so much practically
9:04 what are you on about a sporty natural aspirated car?!? its not naturally aspirated. ' I saw it in the night and the rear view mirror as I was driving it' how can you see a car you are driving in a rear view mirror
@@TopdriversinWales yeah, slip of the tongue for that one. And as for seeing it while driving, a friend has the same car / when I was driving my own car I’ve seen this car follow me back after filming
@OLTAUTOMOTIVE tbh I think it will be the mk8.5 ST in a few years, I'm in my 40's and this ST line 125 is the newest car I've ever owned and the bairns are getting older so would like to treat myself to having the full ST, always wanted one 🤞🏻
Just got a 22 plate 118i M Sport and I love it. But then I did change from a 56 plate Ford Focus 2.0l Ghia which I had from a year old and also loved it
The plastic outside is for cars that spend time off-road. Off road tears up paint so It makes extreme sense in a car that is bred to go soft off-roading. Yeah the design is ugly when it doesn’t have to be. Toyota just doesn’t want to sell EVs.
@@ToOpen6seven in all honestly I didn’t have any issues with the car! I had one electronic fault, about 2 weeks into ownership, where the front headlights would say they were on but they weren’t or only one would come on. I contacted JLR and it was fixed over the air with an update. Other than that, the car was a dream with no issues. Obviously reliability is always questioned with JLR products, but it all comes down to each individual car! You could have one customer who has no issues in 20 years, but then you could have another customer who has had 20 issues in 1 year!
@OLTAUTOMOTIVE well don't want to be a dick but even if you google car latch location it will state tgat most cars have it in the passenger side. Which actually makes sense, as the driver is the one to use. Why woukd you want it in the passenger side by the way. All my toyoras, Lexus, Alfa romeo had it at tmsimikar location on driver side
@@johnales79 no I understood don’t worry, I get your point too, I guess there’s an argument to have it on or not to have it on either side! Personally just couldn’t find it originally, but maybe that’s my eyes!
Mate I feel exactly the same as you. However sometimes I feel okay with it. One question, did it get Apple Car play ? Or did you retro fit it ? This is my 4th BMW but certainly the last one. Will go somewhere else. I don't think you were negative to it as many poeple say.. I totally understand the fristration for a 2021 car.
@@Bardockvision this one got Apple car play! I only ever have the cars for a small period (unless I state “my” I don’t own the car!). I’m glad you can understand my frustrations and appreciate the comment! Some people are very passionate about BMW’s so don’t like it when I say how I feel, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Any idea of what you’ll go for next?
@@OLTAUTOMOTIVE Very frustrated. Let me tell you the mistake I made. I got the car (all thinking that IT HAS A.C.P) since it was a 2021. I would've bet my life. Got the car, did the paperwork... her I am at home looking at it and wanted to connect my ACP... it wasn't available. I raged man. Definitely a Toyota Prius the new one. That is the perfect car.
@@faceofthemoment4571 insurance for me on this car was just over £800. Don’t look too much into that though, as insurance varies dramatically between person to person, and the list of factors which affect insurance is endless!
@@Puleke999 at the start/end of virtually every video, I explain that what I’m going to say is purely personal opinion and that what I love/hate might be completely different to the next person and that the video is up on the basis of things to expect as some people will agree. So it’s fine that you don’t agree, but the video isn’t there for everyone to agree, it’s to give an alternative outlook on things people might find they also hate before they buy
@@akefreex3056 BMW’s are pretty reliable. How easily they break depends on how you use the car, and in terms of how many miles until problems occur, again it depends how you treat the car, how you drive it and how well you look after it
@@OLTAUTOMOTIVE I see, makes a lot of sense, thinking of getting one pretty soon, the ones Im looking at have driven about 3-5 thousands european miles, 2020 m sport model, What do you think?
@@akefreex3056 still a very fresh car if it’s only done 3-5k miles. Will probably have ironed out any teething problems the car may have had and won’t have been ragged around. I’d say it’s probably your best bet, other than buying from new, to get a car that’s done between 3-12k mileage!
@@OLTAUTOMOTIVE yeah thats probably gonna be the case, getting it in 2-3 weeks probably ill let you know what I think about it, thank you for taking time out to answer my q's!
