Dr. Venkman's expertise was less in engineering and more psychology and parapsychology, making him better at engaging with the public in more of a marketing role of the business.
This video is great, but it has a bit of a depressing effect on me as well. I'm not a fan of the modern day Ghostbusters sequels. Growing up, like most Ghostbusters fans I wanted to see a direct sequel to part 2, the closest we ever got to a true part 3 was Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which in my headcanon is part 3. This video brings me down a little bit because it's like it comes from a world where the Ghostbusters are common knowledge and recognized for their efforts in the first two movies, which is exactly how I always imagined the world of Ghostbusters being in a part 3 that took place in the internet age a decade or more after the second movie. It would make sense to see informational videos like this on social media referencing the Ghostbusters accomplishments and inventions, and organizations affiliated with them like your Ghostbusters Northwest. Thank you for this video, the enjoyment I got from it far eclipsed the sense of loss about not getting something like this in the modern sequels.
I can't help but wonder... how long can this go on? I mean, you think they would eventually, have to find a way to help a lot of these spirits to ... well... transfer over, ya know.
There were a couple of variables at play. 1) He looked at the trap during the first pedal press. As long as you are not looking at during the 2nd pedal press, you should be OK. 2) Distance also plays a factor. As long as you are not near the edges of the cone entrapment field, you have a 75% chance of keeping your soul.
Hey Ghostbusters northwest I really your gbnw"ghost classifications" -beetlejuice video I grow up watching Ghostbusters franchise My Request is gbnw " ghost classifications" - the beast from poltergeist 1982 movie
There is a risk that a single trap may not have the juice to hold a Class 7 metaspector (AKA- demon/god), but thankfullythey can be contained within multiple traps (Such as Gozer at the dirt farm) for transport to the containment unit.
In the case of 1 trap against a class 5+ is there a chance the ghost breaks the trap’s inner mechanism upon failure of capture or the ghost just escapes and drains the battery. Especially if it’s on guard lock.
@@blurryburrnn6Ghosts are known for draining the batteries of nearly appliances to manifest. A class 5+ spook is similar. If it's too powerful for the trap, it can sometimes drain the battery to the point of failure. Once the NRAD shields are down, a guard lock is just a fancy way of saying a "closed door," which won't hold a ghost when there is no power to maintain the NRAD shields.
