@marioarellano3735 as the kit was made for this specific car I can't say it would fit yours or others. At this time there will nit be any copies made. If you want the kit you'll need to buy the car as a whole 😉👌
Turned out for the best! What compound and polish are you using, I used to use Ferecla g10 but can't get it anymore and a polish that was pink but was goldwings secret polish. The last vehicle I buffed with newer compounds and polish left bad holograms in the clear on my black high country Silverado. I felt like an idiot but it's live and learn. Bought another buffer and some new pads just need a good product to fix it... holograms are probably cause I rushed it though lol. Can't wait to bump into ya around town!
It absolutely did and I'm so fortunate to have had great guidance 🙏 I used the Mcguire's ultimate compound only here and I'll be using the ultimate polish as well. See.s to be very mild in comparison to some I've tried to use in the past. I cant wait to polish my truck! 🤣 for sure we will!
Off topic question, howd you get the c4 tail lights to hook up to your blueghozt? did you use a 2-3 wire splitter by chance? Im trying it with my 1990 corvette cuz its got those dual filament 1157 bulbs where the DRL/tail lights are on their own wire and the brake and turn share the second wire. I cant seem to get it to work, the module keeps getting confused. any thoughts or suggestions?
Good question!! Oh it was not that easy my friend. I tried the splitter but it did not work as I needed it. As you may or may not know, the brake signal and the turn signal are on the same fixtures. If you have a third brake light you would think you would be able connect the ghozt to that but then then the turn signal would still activate when you press the brakes. What I had to do was cut the brake signal wire at the pedal and run a dedicated brake signal from the pedal to the controller. When you sever that connection the ECU of the car would only see turn signal to the rear lights. It's a bit hard to explain LOL Basically, the car ECU controls the lighting to switch between signal and brake. You'll need to bypass that signal and one filament signal will be your park light and the other a turn signal. You'll also need to switch your flash relay to an electronic one in order to use LEDS as well otherwise it won't have enough draw to pull that relay in and activate
@@RustedandBusted thatd be awesome, I think I get the jist but itd be helpful for anyone experiencing a similar issue. The biggest struggle when doing super specific unique jobs like this is when you look up solutions you never find someone in the same situation lol
@@RustedandBusted If you did a short could you show where you located the wire you had to cut on the car? Im looking into it and It seems like most c4 corvettes have 2 plugs that go into the brake switch
Hey man, I hope you still read your comments. I am getting ready to do my front struts on my 1982 Rx7 and I want to replace them all together with updated KYB struts. My question does the spindle come off of the strut?
Hey dude! They do not! The shock is an insert to the strut/spindle. There's a massive nut on the top that holds it all in there. Only place that I know of that sells new struts complete is Techno toy tuning if you want to go that route. Otherwise compress the spring, remove it and undo the nut at the top of the shock and pull them out. They may get stuck so just pull and pull until it comes out. Good luck!
Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that a Camaro with WS6 Trans am wheels? Jus caught a glimpse so wasn't sure..if so Ive never seen that. Have to look again to see if I'm sold on the idea
That’s one of the coolest cars I have ever seen, and this comes from a guy who prefers his car stock. Love that Z28 too. Unfortunately just lost my 94 Z28 in an accident 😢 Was actually looking at a green one like that to replace it!
If you're using ethanol gas with a crossfire injection motor and you let it sit for a while you can end up with a lot of gumming in your fuel system , just something to consider! I run non-ethanol to be safe in my 84!
Brother! I was about to tackle this with no manual but googled it and came across your video. Mines a 89 but still very similar. Super helpful. Thank you!
@@RustedandBusted if you get a chance, check out the ww2 oxygen tanks on my build..(last part of the video) I want to run copper lines to them as you did.. thanks for the inspiration ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uyD3sDvCvYQ.html&ab_channel=WaylonWire%27sOldIron
Saw you the other week behind me, it's even more impressive in person. From a distance I was thinking widebody Ferrari until you got closer and I recognized it! 😂
