They get drivers from the street all the time. Warehouse position youll be looking at over 5 years wait while someone from the street can become a driver right away. They wont let you apply to those driving positions if you already in.
Yeah for some people not everybody. 14 years with the company my center makes it very difficult to become a driver, its all favoritism no matter how hard you try you still fail because they want you to fail. For those who succeed, my hats off to you, but this video is a little misleading
I get it. Putting yourself in position to become a driver is simple and easy, but you passing everything and having what it takes is different. That goes with just about everything.
other drivers got so much beef with UPS because you guys are so cocky. I use to not think you guys were so stuck up till I run into 3 of you on my route. shit id be happy as well only lifting 15 pound boxes everyday making 100k a year.
Good for you……they should give you a prize LOL . I never said anything about comparing to anyone. Take your easy day and hard days, I’m just here sharing my week, keeping it moving.
Not all routes are created equal. 159 on Friday on your route could be equal to 250 on another. Traffic, school zones, apartment complexes, neighborhoods with drop boxes for no sig drops, etc.. so if dude is proud enough to post that and he knows his bosses be proud too I will say well done sir
🎶"My eyes are gettin' weary, My back is gettin' tight, I'm sittin' here in traffic, On the Queensborough bridge tonight, But I don't care cuz all I wanna do, Is cash my check and drive right home to you, Cuz baby all my life I will be driving home to you"🎵
Thanks for your comment. If they're hiring right now, that means that there is a imminent need for that position, therefore I would assume that you'll be good. Congrats!!
It happens , i’ve been a driver for going on 3 years got hired as a “casual” bust my a** and became a permanent 22.4 and became 0300 right before signing new contract .. Its very hard but definitely possible
I’m an air driver for 11yrs I was affected and hrs cut in half. I have to be grieving everyday because I’m guarantee 8hrs. They trying to keep me no more the 4 1/2hrs and the work is there they send me home and let supervisors work.
Thanks I’m trying to stay strong. Looking for a side gig I can’t provide for my family and it’s ripping me apart. It’s very unfair and ppl with way less seniority gets offer to make u Their 4hrs.. so idk what’s up with doing this to air driver.
Hopefully this will get a lot of my brothers and sisters back to work because right now a lot of us our hurting. Plus our sleeper team network can handle the air volume easily.
The USPS' air volume will definitely put the planes to work more as well as some of the feeders. I'll be dropping a video soon on the money numbers around the air contract, stay tuned. As far as getting brothers and sisters back to work, that is primarily based on how much the package volume comes back, hopefully it goes in a positive direction.
I've seen that recently they've hired new people for the warehouse for the twilight (late evening) shift. Keep up with the job postings and apply when you see them available. Good Luck!
