It's possible, just be willing to relocate to a non-big city where nothing is going on. If that's you, then go ahead. Looking at today's jobs, there are at least three openings for permanent drivers. But if you look at the locations, it's not a place to live if you want to be able to do stuff here and there, plus family and friends, etc. I just recommend sticking it out. Now, if you don't care about none of that, you want to get your bread and leave, then go ahead, it's possible.

Normally it’s harder to become a driver @ non big city. There is less positions and less retirement to move up. Most drivers at my center came from smaller centers

I’ve been working for UPS for about three years and I’m only 21. I’m definitely considering on signing up for it once I graduate College.

Congrats on the 3 years and being in college!! Sign the bid list every quarter even if you're not ready to drive yet. Good luck!

@@BrickedOutMediaThank you sir! I was told that the bid sheet for driving will be open this summer, which is around the corner and I plan on graduating during that time as well. I’ve been learning the 5s and 10s method too. I hope everything goes to plan for me! I do live in Oklahoma.

@@elirodriguez9889 You're welcome! Oh yes, learn those 5s and 10s, implement then when you drive, and you'll be golden!!

Great job on hanging in there. Determination. We have to stick around long enough to see the results.

I’ve been in the hub , how do I know when it’s time to bid?
@BrickedOutMedia
@BrickedOutMedia 2 месяца назад
The bid list should go up the last 2 weeks of every quarter. I would sign it every time it goes up, because you can always turn down the position. But, sign every time!!

For how long years

It all depends on which building you're at, what their staffing looks like, and how many people that are inside who actually wants to drive too.

Hey, How long do you think it would take to be a driver at a heavenly populated hub?
@BrickedOutMedia
@BrickedOutMedia 5 месяцев назад
A permanent driver? It depends on the seniority order in your building and how many of those inside people want to drive and what your seniority is compared to theirs. I would say no less than 2 years.

No one can answer this. Openings happen when openings happen. No formula exists and every center is different.

so theres no "fastest way", gotcha
@BrickedOutMedia

Fastest and fast are different. Relatively speaking.

They're right, it's not a "fast" way but it is the "fastest" as oppose to any other way.
