WoW Rhett you certainly gave me a lot to think about. How much do I really want to please God and how much do I really just want to please myself. The first choice is a great multiplication in rewards and blessings. The other is a nice quickie!
Well you did it again! Wonderful and "joyful" sharing. on the deepness and great qualities of life in having joy. It really changes everything in life to have that behind us. You shared about the physical sound of joy echoing out of Jerusalem. It made me think of the internal one that is even louder residing from God's spirit living in us. That fountain of living waters with an unlimited amount of joy that we can draw from. Excellent work Sue!
Great example of "working" the Word. We need more sessions that SHOW people examples of "working " the Word. Much appreciated. Would be wonderful to see John Schoenheit do a few sessions with Accordance software (which he uses; so do I).

I was wondering if in the parable of the rich man he hadn't sold himself to the Devil FOR the abundant crops the Devil having promised him a long life with no worries but then, the Devil being a liar and deceiver that he is, BROKE the deal and demanded his soul earlier than he had promised. What advocates for it is that the rich man uses the same exact rhetoric Lucifer uses in Isaiah 14, basically "I, me, my, mine, for me" etc. as if the rich man had aquired the character of his master by the time he started enjoying the extra crops. Then God visits and, essentially, tells him, you fool, you made a bad deal and you don't get to enjoy it since you have to die. Of course, Christ couldn't have put it that way because his mission was not to expound on the unforgivable sin in detail but only warn about it. Anyway, just a thought. Hi Marcin, thanks for commenting. I am not sure if that is part of the parable. Parables are typically fictitious stories that are created to convey a principle or life lesson. Since there is no mention of the devil in the parable, I would probably hesitate to imply that the rich man had made such a deal. I think the meaning of the parable is able to be understood without additional assumptions.
I thought I would put a teaching in the background and listen while I was drawing. Holy guacamole! I'll have to listen to this a few times. Beautiful presentation and put together so tightly. I think John S. had his mouth opened! Always loved the understanding of numbers and their divine purpose and function. Lucky 7 right!
your Bible teachings are as always the best! I always look to your teachings and point others in that direction also when studying the Bible and Understanding God's word . Been a real fan of yours since the seventies. On a side note, I'm not sure why you felt the need to interject your anti-vax beliefs into this teaching. I think there has been a lot of good vaccine science through the years that have done a lot of good. I'm not sure if that was your intent or not but to be honest that's kind of the way it sounded. Oh my gosh, John! Indeed, this is another way in which Biblical Unitarians can make a difference in a way mainstream Christians cannot due to their false doctrine. It makes sense that we cannot condemn anyone at any point unlike some of those who say "oh you reject Christ? Burn forever in hell!!!" Instead, we still are kind and loving even to those who reject Christ and aren't interested in Christianity for the goal of them just being a good person. I'm so blessed for having access to your teachings where I always learn something that makes me potentially a better Christian!

Thanks Ed for this teaching, it made total sense to me ;-) Ed, if words have meanings and the Word of God so much more, we can't follow God by twisting it to suit our doctrines. Consequently, if Romans 10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" AND believe in your heart that GOD raised him [Jesus] from the dead you will be saved, then, mainstream Christianity, which believes in the Trinity and that Jesus is God follows the WRONG formula for salvation. If Jesus is God then he raised HIMSELF. God did not need anyone to raise himself because he raised himself (I speak as if I were a Trinitarian). So, to a Trinitarian, the interpretation is: confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that he raised himself from the dead. It's not the confession part that's the problem here but what they BELIEVE IN THEIR HEART, that Jesus raised himself by his own power. Indeed, I know Polish evangelical pastors who believe and teach that. If they, therefore, erronously interpret that part are they truly born again or do they BELIEVE they are born again and play Christians in their ignorance while still in their sins? Similarly, all one needs according to Paul in his words to the jailer in order to be saved is to believe on the Lord Jesus. But they don't believe on the LORD Jesus, they believe on GOD Jesus. What's your take on this?
Thanks for your kind comments, Marcin. Hope you are still able to share the truth in ways that will be received, thought about and discovered. My hope is that their salvation is not based on correct theology but on their hearts. Sadly, those that think Jesus was 100% God and 100% man take away from Jesus what he did as a true 100% human, born from a woman, another human. I had to use a mystery when what I was taught didn't make sense or line up with other scriptures. My prayer for you and all the community you are involved that truth will prevail and lies about Jesus will be exposed and truth will prevail. Bless you, Marcin, Ed
