even if I am 4 years to late, the music makes it impossible to understand what you say. Try using this without the small fan. The big noctua schould produce more airflow through the fins. The small fan creates so much turbulence that the air blocks itself and reduces the amount of heat transported away.
I would like to ask if the stabilization of the ACE Pro was turned on and if so, to what level. Or just the gimball is stabilized. It can be used at the same time and it takes out the movement shown at the step, or it can only be used separately. Thanks
I think it's a no but it doesn't hurt to ask but can you actually connect the ace pro to the flow the same way you connect your phone to this gimbal ? Otherwise which do you choose to connect to the insta360 app for the best results possible ?
Sadly not, you could connect to the app on the phone but it wouldn’t know to use the AcePro camera and would just default to the phone. As we can do remote viewing of the AP on our phones I could see it being possible for insta360 to make it work. But not possible atm
You can rotate it to look the other way by using the trigger on the Flow. It’s the same as it would if you had a mobile phone on it too. You can also switch from landscape to portrait.
Was looking for a gimbal for Ace Pro so thanks for the video. Is there a 1/4 adaptor at the bottom for extended rod to take low angle shots? And is the calibration difficult?
Yup there is, so the Flow has this cool inbuilt mini tripod but if you leave it pushed in, you can use any 1/4 mount with it. I tried it with a PGYTech Mantis pod which worked Ok. But you probably would want something more ridged if that makes sense.
Amazon or Ebay is your friend with this. The GoPro cage came from Amazon and the weights are just generic 'gimbal weights' which you can buy in sets or individually. Hope that helps :)
Awesome. I've had the Ronin SC for a couple years or so and love it. Just got the GoPro Hero 10 and wasn't sure if this would work. Question: Have you been able to power the GoPro from the Ronin? Just tried multiple cables and nothing.
Having trouble setting the balance for my Sony a6000 35mm 1.8 lens.. I do not have a weight on the hot shoe mount and can anyone answer why the gimbal shakes or vibrates on its own???
Hey man thanks! I put the links in the description, but you can find the original files here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4335763 Really easy to print, good luck :)
hey! Im struggling connecting my A6000 to the Ronin S with the cable. Im wondering if the camera is too old and wont connect or that the sony 16-70 Zeiss lense im using is not compatible.. Have you had these kinds of issues? Thanks so much. Great video

Hey, thx for the vid. I‘m looking forward to buy the ronin, used the isteady pro 3 till now with the gp8...do i need counterweights for the ronin if i want to use it with the gp8 and mediamod? Thx!
@@jakestechtravels4864 Yeah, but how did you connect the fan to the GPIO? Did you buy jumper connectors to attach to the cables or did noctua provide the cable with GPIO connections?
@@funkymonk4688 ah I see, I used 2 old female jumper connector ends and soldered it to the provided cable. I had to modify it slightly but works great.
Hey mate, how do you rate the Sony A6000 with the Ronin SC im currently looking at a new mirrorless camera for videography and have bought the Ronin SC and hear some good things about the A6000
Hey there, so you can remove the 52mm filter (or add your own) but the actual mounting for this is machine pressed onto the cage body itself so you cant remove it totally. Hope that helps.
