Hey Tom, sorry for the late reply!. They actually are designed for mobile gimbals. I had it for an Osmo mobile 2 to use with the Anamorphic moment lens with iphone. The counterweights themselves have a 1/4 screw and thread either side so you can mount them on hotshoe / accessory 1/4 mounts. I am sure you could purchase just the weights as the clamp does not fit any part of the Ronin in a safe way. hey! Im struggling connecting my A6000 to the Ronin S with the cable. Im wondering if the camera is too old and wont connect or that the sony 16-70 Zeiss lense im using is not compatible.. Have you had these kinds of issues? Thanks so much. Great video

Having trouble setting the balance for my Sony a6000 35mm 1.8 lens.. I do not have a weight on the hot shoe mount and can anyone answer why the gimbal shakes or vibrates on its own???
MDMinecart the best thing to do is check out the math. Weigh the Sony body + lens + batteries + any cage or accessories and check the total isn’t higher than the SC max payload size. I would try but I only have the sigma 16 1.4 and a couple other small lenses which wouldn’t be the same as your setup. But it’s all about the max payload weight that the motors can handle. Good luck!

Ayker Rocablanca I plan to do a better detailed video in the coming weeks. Due to get a Sigma 16mm 1.4 that I want to include in the video showing how to balance both kit lens (very light) and then using the sigma which is a very heavy lens. I can confirm the USB cable does work, however you can’t start/stop video with the a6000 with this method as you must use the small record button on the side, so the only use is for photography 😩😤
