Hi, Alex and Olena here. I, Alex, was born and raised in the deep West Texas city known as El Paso. Olena hails from the Eastern European country known as Ukraine. We met, interestingly enough on Tinder in 2016 while I was traveling Eastern Europe....dated ever since and got married in 2018! We're in the beginning stages of starting a channel and are learning the ropes of growing it. We'll be making videos where we document our travel adventures talking about a wide range of topics including food, hotels, transportation, activities.....and more!
@@markom3329 if you’re not one to sit around all day and all you want is the experience then 3 hrs is definitely enough time to take it all in. I want to say we only stayed for around that amount of time not including the time it takes to get there and back from Bucharest proper. Have fun, Romania is awesome! Thanks for watching!
I will eventually come by train from the airport. Is it easy to get up into this particular hotel? Is there a lift instead of an escalator so I don’t have to drag my suitcases on the escalator, please Thanks in advance for the information.
There is one long escalator that gets you to an elevator that then takes you up to the hotel lobby. To be honest, we always took the escalator and did not really look for any elevators but that's not to say there aren't any. If I were to guess there probably is one somewhere, we just didn't pay attention. Malaysia is pretty good when it comes to accessibility. Thanks for watching!
"Wow, this white water rafting adventure looks amazing! 🌊 I never knew it was so accessible from Kuala Lumpur. Thanks for sharing this exciting activity-definitely adding it to my travel list. Keep up the great work!
Yes, we never would have thought so either. We had done white water rafting in Bali a bunch of times and figured there has to be other white water rafting opportunities in other parts of SE Asia. So we did the research and found out about some near Kuala Lumpur. It's definitely an overlooked activity that should not be missed! Thanks for positive feedback!
Sorry you had a bad experience but music in the lobby is standard across all hotels and we never had any issues with loud music that kept us awake. Maybe all this happened in your imagination....lol. Thanks for watching!
You are entitled to your opinion just as much as we are ours. So what if it attracts a lot of tourists? That does not mean it is a place that should not be visited. Thanks for watching!
I remember seeing this place at 8 years old so maybe 1990. I’m sorta glad to see all the scenes still appear to be the same. I tried showing my own kids ur video and the 7 yr old couldn’t handle it 🙄😁He’s the one who needs to see “consequences” Thanks for the mini trip down memory lane.
You have to contact them directly to request early check in. Depending on the availability of rooms they can accommodate but it is not guaranteed. You just have to ask. Thanks for watching!
@@littlecrazy622 Glad you enjoyed the video. At the time we were there there were very few lines and sometime no lines at all. It’s best to get there when it opens as it doesn’t slowly start to fill up a the day goes on. We were there at the end of September, which, I believe is low season for tourists so it really just depends on the time of year you visit. Thanks for watching!
nice and amazing vlog, you can improve by showing around the surroundings in your video, for example at the sky bridge, you keep showing only view from 1 side, the view from the other side/window is not shown, but overall 8/10 nice video
Thanks for the tip. Yes, I noticed as well, we did have video of both sides but forgot to include. We’ll be sure to be more thorough on our next video. Thanks for watching!
Accidentally deleted my comment, Sorry. Great video of a place that should be on everyone's 'to visit' list. Is it possible to link me to the music used during the Courts of Hell segment. I wonder if statistics indicate that children were much better behaved after the tour...lol
The track is called Forest Find by Tracktribe. Here is a link to their song. From what I’ve heard, parents used to take their kids here for that very purpose back in the day….lol. Thanks for watching! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZubvVS1hyxc.htmlsi=jrO9dt_aG2zdAdYy
We were only there for about a half day but that’s because we aren’t the types to stay at places for very long. You can easily spend the whole day there if you want. It al depends on how thorough you want to be. But anything more than a day is overkill in our opinion. Thanks for watching!
What a great trip down memory lane! I remember we were on the 10th floor of Elizabeth Towers. Is CK Tang still there and the Marriott skyscraper with the pagoda roof?
CK Tang is still there, it’s one and the same building as the Marriott with the Pagoda Roof. Most of Orchard is different than what you’d probably remember. It’s changed a lot. We didn’t really spend much time there though since we weren’t too interested in shopping.
We don't think it's necessary to out someone like that. Judging from the strangely few negative reviews I've seen on this company, this is a recurring theme and isn't an isolated incident. It apparently is an issue with other guides as well so it's really the company as a whole rather than just one individual. Also, this sort of practice may not bother some people. Our warning is hopefully enough. Thanks for watching!
@Kenshirokan As a Singaporean, whether it is an individual or a company, this kind of behavior cannot be advocated or encouraged. It is neither the practice that the tourism board (STB) will encourage since it is labelled as free tour. Your reach is limited, so I suggest you should write to the STB to lodge a complaint so they are aware of it and can take the necessary action.
Heh, don't worry, video hardly has any views so the secret isn't out yet. Only the die hard value/quality seekers like yourself and us will ever go to this place. Most everyone else would consider it to be sub par-sushi and continue to stick with the over hyped ultra expensive sushi pop ups that are saturating Houston. Thanks for watching!
As a Singaporean I’m so sorry and ashamed to hear of your experience regarding your free Chinatown tour. Please submit your feedback to the Singapore Tourism Board, they will take action. www.stb.gov.sg/content/stb/en/footer/contact-us.html
Yeah, we were very disappointed to say the least. I will look into submitting feedback. Don't get me wrong, our particular guide did have the knowledge, it was a combination of the blatant hustle for money as well as the unnecessary rambling on about topics not related to the tour itself that completely turned us off. Thanks for watching!
The price for taxi is 50-60 lei.however, the driver charged me 162 lei. My friend was charged 300 lei. I am leaving today and learned the receipt I got from the taxi driver is fake one. These drivers do not care how visitors view people in Romania!
That is unfortunate. But what you experienced with taxis is a world wide problem, not just limited to Romania. That is why we never used taxis. We always used either Grab or Uber where the fare is both shown and paid for through the app. Zero hassles. Thanks for watching!
use an application, next time, such as Star Taxi. It has reviews and they can't f* you up. And if they do you do it too, via bad reviews. But usually they are ok, when using the app.
