What an insulting, thoughtless commercial for any women, but definitely in relation towards the aging women! Your idea of compassion is showing an elderly woman attempting to put a bra on in a way that no limber teenager on the planet could or would?? Who in your corporation thought this was a great idea or selling strategy? An appropriate commercial might have included a caregiver painting the woman’s toenails, and helping her slip into a pair of sandals. Maybe you could’ve shown a cold snowy day were a caregiver is helping the woman put on a warm coat and kindly wrapping a scarf around her neck. This is utterly ridiculous and thoughtless!

Great webinar, very informative, positive approach to Dementia, great to hear others views as I have cared for such people in my role as a health care worker. Advice given to me by my mother many years ago "Go with the person in their conversation and not contradict them, the illness does not define them as they were people with lives of their own before the illness struck them" It has stood the test of time.
