Great webinar, very informative, positive approach to Dementia, great to hear others views as I have cared for such people in my role as a health care worker. Advice given to me by my mother many years ago "Go with the person in their conversation and not contradict them, the illness does not define them as they were people with lives of their own before the illness struck them" It has stood the test of time. Is anything being done about lobbying Government for realistic living wage/carers allowance as currently the Gov. is saving billions having unpaid carers in the home?
