I love guilds like QQ in games, the kind of no-life losers who love to cheese in PvP or go 1vMany, but the MOMENT you do it to them or outperform them, they get pissed.
cele specter is a f menace the output is so insane that it feels like its using pve numbers. If one of your mates on cele specter as a team your target is fucked to hell theres no escape. Deadeye is just stupid broken, its just a joke on the game. Cata and willbender should be s tier and soulbeast on A. Other than that pretty accurate. Also i would put daredevil and deadeye above harb. The weakness are just the same as other necromancer which is pretty simple.
the fact that basically a lot of people that play WvW more than just once in a bluemoon have been plaqued by them to some extent is crazy. I could swear they also have people playing on EU doing just the same
did you have fun, experience mixed emotions, anger, hate, happiness, joy? this reminds me of the best moments in eve and what made it a historical mmo, there will always be a need for toxic dummies, the challenge that must be beat, the villains.. especially in game modes that depend on players to make the content... i've played wvw for a long time and the most fun i had was dealing with dummies like QQ, make no mistake QQ isnt the only group out there that does stuff like this that causes incredible frustration and on the other side of the coin incredible joy when you overcome them and beat them, how many guilds and friendships were built to overcome a troll/toxic group, how many servers united against a common enemy.. these emotions could not come from wvw alone, for we all know what wvw becomes when theres no interactions a joyless karma train, where blobs go from cap to cap and eventually lead to the well known "wvw is dead" meme
Ahh QQ I remember them they were excelent in 2vs1's but terrible on equal footing. They especially hate it if you don't take their bait and just defends forts with sieges lol. Used to play YB back in the day where it was actually active with FoW , Old Guards and etc.
But isn't all this situation like... An actual fun online metanarrative about some people being the bad and the other people gathering to become the good? Wasn't this battle more fun and meaningfull than the entirety of this glorified singleplayer game with co-op options? I believe this is what MMORPGs should be about (minus, maybe, harrasment, I'm not for that). This is the type of narrative is exclusive to MMORPG genre and should be cherrished. QQ provided you with an enemy. A reason to unite and retaliate

This is when cheats are justified, god mode on yourself 🤣 Or better yet, Anet perma bans those accounts that target/harass you in game. I would do this if I was in charge. I would tell them go ahead and test me LOL.

To illustrate how absolutely stupid Harb is. I’m above average but nowhere near the top. I never played Harb before. Within 30 minutes of playing it, I was able to take 50% of my duels against one of the top Elementalist pvp players. Within the week I don’t think I lost any duels - only ever stalemated at worst but won most. It’s the most busted build the game has ever had when you consider how it fits within the rest of the meta.
I don’t think it will work on me because I don’t use RU-vid,I will never post my game screenshots to make me a target,and I am not a famous content creator it will be fun if they try to find me but failed to do so because I don’t use facebook vary much or I don’t have a space x /old twitter account my time zone Is really weird impossible to keep up.
Generally I don't complain about tier lists or even balance but anyone who doesn't see the Deadeye problem has been playing this game for far too long. Deadeye is an anomaly. It literally shouldn't exist in it's current state in WvW. It's not just their permanent access to stealth but also the way stealth targetting works, the way stealthed characters reappear and so much more. If you defend this, I simply ask you to go play another PvP game for once in the 15 years you've been playing GW2 exclusively.
just move weaver to C tier and cata to B tier... if we are really talking about average players if i ever see a weaver, which is pretty rare to begin with, they are pretty much insta dead to most power builds, yeah they have that burst combo but 1 dodge can negate it all and after that it's pretty much dead... and cata is ok but having different builds most of which mediocre (hammer cata? really? you like people just walking away from you?) doesn't really make it that great... cele daggers are having a comeback and cele scepter is decent for 1v1s but not for roaming and fa cata is worse than weaver in the damage department so yeah you won't be killing much with it...
Ohhh man, no way cata is B tier haha. Believe me, cata has some extremely busted builds and if an average player had the right build they would get a lot done. Your weaver take is fair
