I am so serious when I say this When I bought the game and noticed that they had removed tilts and Chakra shuriken, I immediately refunded. Literally, storm games already were never super in depth like a normal fighting game like Fighterz or something like Street fighter, however they had something there that allowed people to have skill expression and made certain characters feel unique. Taking out those seriously made the game just feel lack luster and watered down. I genuinely would have forgiven the game for it's crap roster if the gameplay was at least good but hell no. Worst storm game.
Half of these brain dead commenter missed the whole point of the video and only focus on the Mario party comparison ☠️☠️☠️ he literally stated it doesn’t matter if it’s like Mario party the problem is the lack of originality with the gimics, lack of good mini games, reusing old kny game animations, lag, and only on one platform for the us.
Sometimes, I feel as though these games don't actually want you to create a character. Rather, some of them seem like they were meant to have their own original character be a protagonist that just so happens to be able to modify their appearance. I mean, it almost feels that way with how some of them have such harsh limits, when compared to what we see from many other games in terms of character creation.
To me, kurenai is the only exception for this game, the other dlc and characters added to connections is what makes me agree. Hell story mode is mostly Naruto v Sasuke moments but other characters and scenes are still images. The Boruto story in my opinion is good(other exception). Baryon mode Naruto should be dlc, not Hagoromo.Hell the rest of the characters should be dlc, while adding anime story, but nooo, this game is a cash grab just for dlc. Unless they add Shizune, Anko, Yagao, Hayate, Karui, sound trio, Adult Team Konohamaru,Adult Hanabi,Chino/Nowaki Chinoike, Toneri and Menma; I'm gonna be pissed they're not gonna be dlc, (rumors) this game is getting season 2 of dlc.
I have it on switch, and have even pre-ordered it for ps5. Funny enough, I had no knowledge of Demon Slayer, and just simply like party games. But after playing it, it made me want to check out the anime, so I did. I have now seen all the way through the swordsmith village arc, and love it. If you want to get real meta. Cutscenes from Hinokami Chronicles are reused from the anime, but in 3D, and then reused for this game.
I’m convinced that these gaming companies make collectors and deluxe edition strictly for streamers that have enough money to throw at it without thinking twice. I’m pretty sure they’ve accepted that normal people aren’t going to think it’s worth it to spend money on that.
I’m telling you guys give Naruto one piece and bleach their own games similar to xenoverse but make them open world story and online modes and they are never going broke
I was hoping the new HxH game would have character creation in it when the teaser was announced, now looking at the gameplay it seems like it's gonna be more like Fighterz which is a bit of a let down...
