@@LittleBigThumbs yes, not all in though, only base game + villains as hero decks. It was either some extra cosmetic items or buying other sets i’m yet to acquire so I chose the latter :) What level are you guys backing?
Thanks for watching!! I know you’re partial to Cobble & Fog - I’d be tempted to do a head to head comparison between the two sets. Who would come out on top in a Cobble & Arrows tournament??
Dont know how it got in my feed, but you are right. The take where you compare it to you favourite set is an original take. But also the way you explain the subjective feeling a set gives is really nice. For me, these are best unmatched video's i have found. Very well done!!
I haven’t played nearly enough with BoL vol 2! Hamlet’s a GREAT deck, and was my favourite until my daughter tried out Titania and fell in love. That really helped push it into the lead for me!
This video was uploaded about one year ago, just before the campaign launched. It’s pretty common for new publishers to take 12-18 months to deliver their product, but here is a link to their latest campaign update (from early September): www.kickstarter.com/projects/surfshred/haunted-halloween-the-trick-or-treat-board-game/posts/4195990
I’m sooo late on my watch on this! I need to try both That’s Not a Hat and Skyrise! A lot of other great titles in this mix. (Incan Gold is such a classic)
These are great suggestions not ONLY for kids, but for casual gamers (friends/family/coworkers) as the fun/appeal of robo rally wears thin on some folks if it turns into a 3-hour slog to reach all 8 checkpoints over four boards.
@@aquilaprimedesign That’s a great point! Nothing wrong with a streamlined experience for any age. Thanks for watching, and taking the time to leave a comment!
@@LittleBigThumbs On a video that goes up at a well defined time, with something about 'winners selected' in the description, with a timestamp to the winners section of the video, etc. Basically, easy to find, like some other channels do it.
This video and the others in the series are great. Something needs to help math trades seem less complicated and intimidating and this video does just that! Thank you!
I recognized the blocks immediately! I've played Catapult Feud with kids and seperately with adults, it's just great fun. I love the idea of tactical cards.
I find santoriny too late its amazing now that i want the expansion its impossible to find here in México.....but im really sad because pay 100 for all the game again its not possible
@@LittleBigThumbs you would love bang! The dice game. The expansions are also very good. Would love to know what you think of the game if you play it. Inexpensive also.
Rattlebones! I think I'd be most interested to try Die of the Dead; a good looking game with interesting mechanics, I'm sold! My favourite dice game is my home-built version of Tumblin' Dice.
While I enjoy Fort, I never felt that I was actually building a fort while playing it. It felt like I was gathering a group of kids, rather than constructing some kind of structure which is what I think the premise of the game (and its name) sells you. Maybe it’s an American thing (I am from the U.K.), so maybe it’s lost in translation / cultural divide, but a group of friends isn’t a fort *shrug*. Fortify looks cool as you’re actually building a fort.
That’s a fair point. I like to imagine that the forts are being built while that roster of kids is growing/ changing. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
