I also like to house-rule more complicated games to make them manageable to my 5 year old and 7 year old, so i'm really happy to find videos like this that help with that, and also give me a good impression of whether a game that i'm thinking of getting is easily house-rulable to that effect. Really appreciated, thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to comment! It’s certainly a tricky time, trying to find that balance to provide a fun and appropriately challenging experience for both ages. And affirming to know we’re not the only ones!!
These are great suggestions not ONLY for kids, but for casual gamers (friends/family/coworkers) as the fun/appeal of robo rally wears thin on some folks if it turns into a 3-hour slog to reach all 8 checkpoints over four boards.
@@aquilaprimedesign That’s a great point! Nothing wrong with a streamlined experience for any age. Thanks for watching, and taking the time to leave a comment!
Great idea! I have the old version of robo ralley so it won’t be exactly the same but I’ll try making some of the changes and playing with my little ones(8,6,4) I really like the idea of taking games like this and making some tweaks so that they work for little ones. Camel up is one that we bought and have tried to do something similar with.
