Hey there, I like EUCs and ride a Gotway RS19HT, T4 (soon) and Mten4. Germany makes me mostly ride trails, but here and there I go to other countries to ride legally. Join my EUC journey :)
Dude! You have awesome presentation skills, I was hooked the whole video. Looking forward to more from you! Really enjoyed the 3D printing portion, but you’re also super entertaining.
I’m in Los Angeles. It’s sunny 76% of the year so I always use mountain bike helmet with photochromic sunglasses. It’s the perfect combo for my climate.
Have you ever had problems with the police in Germany ? How is the situation around there ? Are the police friendly if you’re acting carefully and responsibly on a euc ? Thanks for the content ! 🎩
I personally was lucky the one time I got stopped, however I do know some people who weren't lucky and payed several hundred euros and their wheel got confiscates for weeks. I know one guy where they took it for 8 months or so, but this is rare. I don't think you'd make it that far in the city before you get stoped by the police.
Officially 25 kph and you don't need any extra insurance. However, I experienced no problems with the LYNX in Luxembourg, but I always tried to ride respectful and I feel like that's what counts. All in all an great place to ride 😍
Brilliant. Happy to see this. Aside using my 3D printer for my tabletop terrain, I have done tons of similar home solutions. So Amy people thinks this 3D printing stuff is a gimmick.
EUC in Germany sucks so hard! I’ll try to keep posting EUC stuff as well though 🤗 However, I thought EUC people might also be interested in 3D printing
@@floatypiet na, its a cool project! I would need such a printer aswell to build stuff out of my head, but theres no way i could operate the CAD program 😆 And for EUC in Germany- just search for a nice peace of forest to ride🤞
@@konditor I’ll continue riding in the forest, it’s just mostly quite wet and muddy in the winter 🫣 Drawing is simpler than you might think. Especially with Shapr3D on the iPad
Nice realization, but quite over complicated, and I don't like to use 3D prints for things that need structural resistance and take hours to print... You can, in half an hour, make a gig out of OSB to be able to cut at 48°, cut the ends of your boards at the correct angle, cut some elongated blocks that fits inside the narrow angle (so that screws go first in the horizontal shelf from below, then thru the block, then in the "roof" board). You can also use readily available bendable metal strip with holes every 2cm or so, and so fix from the outside (won't be seen). Keep the 3D prints for the aesthetic parts as much as possible!
Growbox for what? And also has smell? lol, durian fruit maybe. Whatever you've done you some how managed to tickle the YT Algo gods. 3D print, smelly grow boxes, and shelves? Uhh? and bait the algo with 'make money on the internet lol' I wonder what it says about me to show me this video...
I haven’t ridden there in a while but I’m in a telegram group with the Austrians and it seems to be super chill. They mostly ride faster EUCs (S22, V14, Master…) and I haven’t geared any issues. I can just recommend to have a screenshot or the link the the law with you (just in case).
I don't ride with any less than ECE 22.06 helmet, leatts, titan elbows, and 187 wristies with mirrors. The gear is critical to our safety while riding. Dress for the slide. Thanks for the video!
There’s a Chinese company that makes wearable airbags for old people, the air bags deploy when they sense falling. I think EUC riders could also use them
03:18 For rain riding you can probably ceramic coat your helmet visor to be able to see slightly more clearly so the rain just easily rolls off the visor.
😂😂 I have seen to many accidents with the half shell where they Landes in their chin or face😂. I go full Shell or no shell😄 but without helmet just slow and short distances.
A cutout (or cut off) is when you ask for more than what the wheel can deliver. Meaning the power of the motor is not strong enough to keep you balanced or the battery is so low that it can’t provide you with the power. The result is that your EUC turns off like it did in the intro. To prevent it from happening you can set your PWM (safety margin) at 75 or 80%, so your wheel starts beeping and gives you a tiltback (brakes you) when reaching the limit. I hope this was understandable, if not feel free to ask :)
Because I like sound quality. I find even the SENA Harman Kardon doesn’t sound great. So I prefer spending no extra money and have better sound quality. And having a louder speaker hanging around I find embarrassing. I don’t want even more attention on my wheel and blast my music or navigation around.
Thank you for the video! Double D isn't supposed to be opened more than up to the button. Then take both thumbs put them under the chin strap and slide the helmet out of your head. Double D is super fast and very good to use with gloves! :)
