If you’re reading this it means you’ve stumbled across my channel either intentionally or for the sole purpose of finding answers to your questions about tech, editing, or videography.
I’ve worked in the content creation space for years helping others grow their channels to insurmountable heights and I’ve found that a common theme amongst most of those that want to get started with creating content is not having the tools they need to start… or so they think.
The goal of my channel is to provide you with resources that have helped me and that can help you too in the realm of content creation. To remind you that you have everything you need to get started today and if you feel that you don’t there are alternatives out there so you don’t have to spend thousands on equipment to get you where you want to be. The time is now. Start today. Let’s do this together.
I think you'll find a little bit better results (and easier post production process) if you light the green screen separately and evenly at 50 IRE at 5600K, and put some distance between you and the green screen, so there are no shadows. Throw up another rim light to separate you from the green screen background, and don't shoot at a low aperture of 2.8...get the aperture up around 5.6 or greater so everything behind you is 'in focus' which reduces noise in post production and a cleaner 'more believable' background image in post. Also, if you can afford it, pay more for a digital green screen fabric rather than a chroma green (lower cost fabric)...it'll light more evenly and flag off reflections with a black cloth or flag and use an external monitor to see how the light is hitting your subject to control shadows on the green screen. Have fun...it's all about experimenting with your gear and the room you have to use!
Hi Seez, thanks for the video:-) I have a Lumix G7 and use it for live-streaming and simultaneously filming my yoga classes. My setup is as follows: I use the Lumix as my webcam through the cam link adapted to my MacBook pro. I use the rode wireless go for audio. I go to zoom and select Cam Link 4K as my video and audio. Additionally, I use a timer to automatically film over 30 minutes of videos. When I set the timer the Lumix starts filming and saving on my SD card and i can stream the same image and audio via Zoom. So far I'm happy with this setup. The only thing i don't like is that I can't use the autofocus setting for filming. It only works if i select the manual filming icon and manual focus. Do you have any idea why it is like that and any solution for me? Manually I haven't reached the same crisp and clear look than with filming on iA. Thank you very much for your help.
@@AnnaKalhammer hi! You will need to switch to the M mode (manual) to effectively use the AF settings. Lucky for you I made a whole video on this already!
can we use this method for filmaking where we can use laptop as external monitor and is it possible to get video displayed on both camera and laptop at the same time while filming
3 more questions : 1) Is there a standard version of this camera for both the US and UK markets 2. Will the modern monitors / displays distort the 8 bot video when it is showing it 3) what are your thoughts on the standard 14-42 lens for youtube ?
Hi Seez ... thanks for the video. I have 3 questions . 1) What exact hack to do to ensure no overheating 2) Does the micro 4/3 come standard or do you need to purchase 3) what happens when you do have movement on camera ( eg : showing items / products for the camera to focus on ?)
Your video is not consistent. You are explaining Auto Focus settings for Video and not Photo and I therefore had trouble following along. For example, you can only set AFF/AFS for Motion Picture.
Seez you called it.. Panasonic is killing it right now with the S5ii(x), GH7, and G9ii. With that prices have dropped on formerly premium cameras - just picked up a Sony A7iii for 900 bucks! (Still have my Lumix G85 and G7 though!) Hope you are well and drop more vids.
I've been using Adobe audition since probably I don't know how old you are but 2001. So I know that very well as far as video editing I'm guessing you use it just like you use Adobe edition for sound except for while you're speaking you can insert videos like sound waves in the middle of what you're speaking am I right?
Hello, I enjoyed your video on the G7. I had a question for you though. I am a beginning photographer enthusiast basically just to shoot my three sons sports action photos. Do you think the G7 would be sufficient to do that or would I need something with better auto focus to capture those split second moments when they’re swinging a baseball bat, etc. thank you
Is it possible to use this camera without the lens? I’m trying but it looks very very blurry, I tried enabling the option in the menu as well but no luck
@@andddrea11 and be careful with the sensor, don't expose it to any dust or dirt because you can cause permanent damage like that, you should keep it covered with a lens or the camera's sensor cap to prevent any damage or need for expensive cleaning
@@nindoninshudon’t be surprised, it happens when you know nothing about a topic. I didn’t think of buying a camera for how much it costs, I just wanted to learn. And now I am. Thanks for the recommendation too.

I did everything you said to get the settings right. I am brightly lit in front of a green screen. I walk around the back of the camera and come and sit back down. There is no face detection, just rock solid blur. It’s not even trying to autofocus, whether I wave my arms, move my face back and forward etc. it has been like this since I purchased this camera years ago.
Thanks for your sharing. Besides, in terms of translating captions, I recommend Immersive Translate for you. This plug-in can translate video captions in real time
idk if you will see this but i need help I have this exact camera but my god in OBS it would let me change the resolution past 1280 by 720 and IDK WHY OR HOW TO FIX IT IVE BEEN SEARCHING EVERYWHERE
You basically saved my life with this video ! I was hand-translating every single clip from my timeline on a TV show for 3 full season, but you just helped me to do it WAY faster! Thanks!
What if the camera you have is a one inch sensor? I don't see any swabs for that size. Can I get an MFT swab sensor kit and just cut it roughly to the one inch?
