Thank you for the question. The video between 0:10 and 0:20 shows a round sticker on the box that says Raise your Voice with e835 written below it. Hope this helps ...
Thank you for your instructions, I am 67 years old and use a Q-16. Simple and understandable explanations (even for someone who is older). Greetings from Austria
Great video and series, thank you! I have a question, would you not also use the GEQ on the main mix just to tune the room as well? or do you just use the individual channels EQ?
I have PA system in gym studio - it aux cord, cd player with zone mixer and ceiling speaker… I noticed I getting this ground loop. When playing I don’t hear any voice and only like muffled background audio noise and it’s almost like muffled with bass.. -when I connect speaker wire to metal chassie then sound works fine… could this be ground issue and how do I go about fixing it? How would I connect the ground noise isolator in my PA system so cd player as option working too? I’m confused about connection part.
We've had this mic in our church for a few months now and im facing a few issues with it. The tower signal that is displayed on the receiver sometimes blinks (goes off and comes back on). Either randomly or sometimes when singers hit high notes. When this happens the audio gets cut off for a split second. But it is very noticeable. Can you please help me with this issue
James is a fantastic trainer!! I’ve looked at bunches of videos relative to the Qu16. He’s just cut this to the meat an’ taters, basics for the not-so- technologically adept. Yay!
Thanks for the great tutorial video. I wonder if you could explain how to set input from the library. My problem is whenever I set say SM58 for channel 1, all other channels will be changed to SM58. This is not what I want. I'd like channel 1 to set as for example Drum and 2 for guitar, 3 for piano etc. Much appreciated if you could explain how to do it.
Thank you for these pointers. I volunteer for our small church in the audio room...we really need help in trying to configure our audio mix so it will sound better when we livestream.
Your video is great.. What if you are doing a livestream and you are using like an atem mini pro. And it requires a 3.5mm aux cable.. what should I do.. because I get the hum when I increase the volume
May I ask why my wireless receiver makes hum noise when power turns on , no hum noise when power turns off. I realized the power supply has no ground as well and it connected to a power strip along with other gears. Please advice and thanks in advance
Great video! I'm dealing with QU-16 setup in our building using Shure PGX wireless system and AKG 48V Phantom Power mics. The requirement is to setup these mics with this mixer for like worship house, mosque or church! The issue is we barely know how to setup those mics with this mixer to provide echo clear environment where you would when you get close and far away from mic like 10inches hear the same sound. If you can share info on this we would appreciate. Thanks.
Our church has a SQ5.. two issues.. 1. Some speakers w/very soft voice .. no matter what the gain, congregation can’t hear the speaker 2. One of our speaker zone, I am not able to set the output higher. How do I find what that zone is ?
Also I don't know how can I use soundcraft mixer , where is mic input and which output is suitable for connect to my desktop, thanks a lot for your help and kindness
Hi dear teacher, I have humm and buzzy in recording voice in my desktop. Would you please give me help? I looked your video about it but I need more,my microphone is dynamic
Thank you. Our church has our first AV system as of just a few months ago. We also have the Qu-16. I was just able to attend an all day training for audio techs, which was great. For a novice, it was a flood of information. This video helps bring a lot of the information together. I look forward to exploring your other topics too.
