,,good video Sam,, i enjoyed watching,, man oh man the oil ha ha ,, nice catch & release on the one,,nice catch & grease on the other ones ,,thanks for sharing,,
Thanks! I appreciate it! Hopefully you will get one soon. I enjoy coming over to your channel and watching your videos. You and your dad have quite a collection! Thanks for watching!
Very nice.... Great shape with a little character.. I love it.. That scuffing looks like bail slap maybe... Short pc of heat shrink tube slid on the bail will prevent that ....
Thanks! I appreciate it! I thought it was scuffing from the bail as well but it doesn’t line up with the bail so I’m not sure what happened. I just bought some bail protection material and I haven’t used it yet but I will have to. Thanks for watching!
Great find !!! Donna helped me find mine, (10 /51) on e-bay last year. I have an engraved Henry Golden Boy that I've never fired...I think it's time to break that one out and enjoy it.. Always a tough decision but why not enjoy it !!!!
Nice....I still have one brand new in the box that's both Cole fuel and unleaded compatible. I tend to use the Coleman lantern with the propane tanks, though as it's much faster and easier to deal with.
Nice! Kinda a tough decision as to weather to light it or not. I think I would have done the same thing. They where built to run. Though, I was gifted a single burner, Marine issued, unfired Coleman, still in the box. I don't have any plans on firing it up, for now. Awesome location.
Thanks Chris! Yeah I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to light it but it is an 80s common lantern and I wanted to be able to enjoy using it so I went for it. I don’t know if I would fire up the marine issued lantern either! Thanks for watching.
Thanks Steve! I’ll have to get some crappie footage! They are hitting good right now! This lake is full of them! Hoping to get out on the water this weekend maybe I can make a video out of it we will see. Thanks for watching!
That is beauty of a lantern. I think you need to light it up. I have a Coleman lantern from 1972 (I think that is the date) that has never been lit. It was given to me a while ago I plan to use it this summer........Take care, Bluefin.
Congratulations Sam! I saw a 6-88 in Gastonia about a month ago... I’ve been looking for the August one for you. You scored the ultimate one though... never fired up and has all the directions... WOW! You must FIRE IT UP!!! 👍🏻
Hey Sam Super Cool lantern, I have never seen one of them. I can’t believe I never get notified of your videos 😠 and I am missing out on all of this coolness. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻
What did you seal the front face with before you put the tabs done again?! Looks orange! Someone help!! I have a bunch of these barrels and this is 100 times better then what I could come up with!
Hay Sam! I just found you video, I just picked up the same lamp, brand new in the box! Thanks for making this video, now I know how to get the lamp running! Cheers from Canada!
That’s really cool that you found one brand new! I’m glad I was able to help you out! Have fun with it! Lanterns are a lot of fun to fettle with especially the pressurized white gas lanterns. Welcome to the addiction lol.
