A friend and I hung out at at my cabin for one night. We went down to the stream, cooked dinner, and made breakfast the next day.

Well-made cabin, one of the best small wood stoves on the market. The setting is fine, even in the winter, without leaves on the trees.

Lol you crack me up. I’m not finished with the cabin yet. I plan on putting a small kitchen in where the table is with cabinets counter tops and a sink. There is a good sized loft in my cabin. I just like to sleep on the main floor sometimes I can watch the fire in my wood burning stove it can be entertaining just to watch a fire. Also there is a bathroom a few hundred feet from my cabin that’s an actual toilet that flushes 😂😂😂. I still need to build a little place for an Outdoor shower. Thanks for watching!

Sam's Outdoor Adventures Thanks for sharing your awesome cabin. It's nice that you got it built and are able to spend some time out there, you can add on and make improvements later. There is no better heat than that which comes from a wood burning stove and a cabin, even a small one beats a tent or a camp trailer, how much land do you have?
@samsoutdooradventures88
@samsoutdooradventures88 6 лет назад

OMG....you folks that want to go back to the stone ages really make me sick. Our is a progressive society and you are just holding us back. Thank fate that most people are not like you, or humanity would not evolve at all. BUT...that is what you wish to do and you have that option, but I suspect if you were forced to do it, you would howl like a wolf.
@wendellworth353
@wendellworth353 6 лет назад
Ah, another regressive primate that gets kicks from rubbing two sticks together to make heat. What is the next step, swinging from trees and hooting?....taking a dump, then throwing it at real people?..or just sitting quietly and eating a banana?
@ardanoraghailligh2505
@ardanoraghailligh2505 6 лет назад
Ahh a "progressive" that when society will collapse or natural disaster strikes will be crying up a storm when the lights start flickering and eventually lose power and don't know what to do. Do yourself a favor - don't come out to the woods - you won't know how to survive. Words of advice - learn now before you can't watch youtube to learn how to survive when the power goes out and the lineman can't restore your power for a few weeks or worse.
@thelyingscotsman7993
@thelyingscotsman7993 6 лет назад
wendell worth Tell me Wendell what do you do for fun because whatever it is there are a thousand people will say it's regressive ie ride a bike,why ?easier to get a taxi.do woodwork why ? Just go to the store .I hope you get my point that if the apocalypse ever happens who would you like as a friend?someone who can ride a bike or someone who can make a.fire and hunt his own food.
@wendellworth353
@wendellworth353 6 лет назад
A good point, Mr. Scotsman. But I can do/have done all those things, if I wanted/had to. I just cannot fathom why someone would want to, when he can do things much easier, faster, and in most cases better with modern conveniences. Perhaps people need to test themselves. I do not know. Now I am not talking about forms of exercise, hiking, running, etc. I am talking about making a fire with flint and steel, instead of striking a match or using a Bic. Building a house without power tools. Wrestling a Grizzly to death and skinning it with a sharp rock. And a thousand others. I know how to do things the old ways, but refuse to until the SHTF. Life is tough enough without resorting/falling back on our old ways. Humanity must always stay progressive.... if it is to contnue.
@wendellworth353
@wendellworth353 6 лет назад
OK. And words of advice to you.......Accept and be glad of what you have today and how far progress has brought us. When you drive to work, cook your food on a electric stove, heat your house with oil, Light your house with bulbs, and take for granted all our modern conveniences. I agree that all should know how to survive in case of the SHTF. I do and send Kudos to those that want to learn. But to practice the old ways every time I go out into the bush is counter-productive to my enjoyment. The old ways take too much time, and I refuse to practice them once learned. I will only employ them, if I need to. Besides, even in the event of being pounded back to the stone age, most of these so called survivalists will perish. They just do not have the mindset to do what must be done, come hell or high water. I know my words do not change opinions and what will be will be. Thank you for your comment.
