Thanks to google's stupid AI for putting me here (and about 100 other videos that had nothing to do with my search). Let's set the record straight, this is NOT UV tiling. True UV Tiling has always been when the UV coordinates extend beyond the texture's size, causing the texture to repeat over and over. You can get *that* kind of tiling but you do have to edit the .json model outside blockbench. This "tiling" is just duplicating faces which kinda defeats the point in the first place since you could stretch the model and tile the UVs. To me, hacks are things you aren't normally supposed to be able to do, this stuff is all well documented and apparent (and obvious). But yeah, apparently there are a lot of people who can't be bothered to read the manual which is why this was popular enough to get hits from google search...smh. (conscience==0).
I have never heard of this game before till i saw the thumbnail. Never have i related to Dagoth Ur so much. I hope our Dunmeri superior will be the first to beta test the game and tell us all his opinions through another sermon.
I'm absolutely in love with this program! I found blender to be quite complex, which, isn't a bad thing and can unlock some amazing possibilities but for the purposes I had in mind block bench is perfect
I have a problem, when I try to animate my model, the model doesn't do the animation but the Pivot Point does. I have tried placing the Pivot Point on the animated object and on the middle of the model but it still doesn't function as intended. Please help.
we just started using block bench for skin making,but this is really cool! what would be the use for this? making own cartoons? or is there ingame benefits? is this like a diy emote?
At the bottom of any RU-vid Vid, you can change playback speed so that you can actually hear what is being said. I use that all the time with AskNK youtube videos.
Do newer versions of blockbench not allow you to change the type of keyframe (linear, smooth, etc)? I'm using a Geckolib model, if that may be the problem.
I think its important to take note that games like Maple Story 2 allowed for user created content to be viewed by everyone so you ended up being able to make your own custom stuff unrestricted to being client side only / only available in a private server. The solution to inappropriate content was clear rules outlining what was acceptable while vetting player content and allowing a report system.
