Cudownie posłuchać po latach, zwłaszcza że na perkusji gra mój kuzyn Sebastian Sroka, który kiedyś grał ze mną w takiej zapomnianej już kapeli częstochowskiej zwanej Whisper. Może kiedyś uda mi się wypuścić to nasze demo. Wracając do Odium, mieli chłopaki szansę stać się drugim Mordorem , był olbrzymi potencjał w tych dźwiękach! Tym albumem przypieczętowali zakończenie pewniej epoki. Moim marzeniem jest nagrać dokument o tej naszej nieświętej podjasnogórskiej scenie metalowej lat 90tych. Działo się sporo. Od Vikinga przez Danger Drive, Mordor, Impacter,Whisper,Extreminas,Catafalco,Indepuso, Muckle Kfuckle, Dead End,Mandragora, wreszcie i Odium aż po Infernal War. Może kiedyś się uda .
Whisper nie jest zapomniany, była możliwość ich posłuchania w audycji "Na Mroczną Nutę" w Radio Armageddon, podobnie i zespół Odium, w sumie w trzech audycjach na przełomie marca i kwietnia 2024 roku wystąpiło 50 zespołów z Częstochowy grających metal.😈Nie pozwolę, aby zapomniano o takich perełkach muzycznych z Częstochowy. A pomysł z reedycją na nośniku CD lub Vinyl to była by piękna sprawa!

Świetne aranżacje, nie ma nudy i oczywistości. Mocno gitarowe granie. Najbardziej podobają mi się właśnie gitary (zwłaszcza prowadząca) i perkusja. Szacun za takie granie, miałem kiedyś na kasecie. Ostatni utwór początek kojarzy mi się z Sentenced. Dzięki za upload 🤘
I remember when I first saw an ad for Amongst the Catacombs and thought, "How can you mix death metal and Egyptian bullshit together?? Is there no end to the nonsense that these guys come up with??". How clueless I was... Unparalleled brutality on that first album. Just perfection. No band could get me amped up enough to get into a mosh pit but with Nile something just took over. I'm sure people know exactly what I'm talkin about. A legendary band in top form right here.

Holy shit, I was at this show! This was a weird SxSW "side show" (but you still needed a pass). It was across from the old Emo's and was set up exclusively for bands signed to Web of Mimicry (Trey Spruance's label - Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, SC3 etc). Didn't have a pass for SxSW just drove up from San Antonio in the hope of seeing The Secret Chiefs 3 live. My girlfriend and I were the ONLY two people they ended up letting in without a pass. God, it was an INSANELY great show: Dengue Fever, Estradasphere, Sleepy Time Gorilla Museum and Secret Chiefs 3 (with a rare performance with Eyvind Kang). Seriously, whoever the hell posted this: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! God, this show killed!! BTW, this was the LAST year you could get away with showing up without a $400 pass and get into anything cool at SxSW...God, I miss the early aughts!
