Hi, my name is Judy! Thanks for being here! I have been a born again Christian for over 20 years and I love being in God's Word. I am a mother of 2 teenage boys, a wife to my wonderful husband who is my best friend. I am also a pastor's wife, my husband and I are pioneering a church and we are so grateful to be used in this way. I truly have a passion to encourage women in the Word and in the faith and to serve women in this way. I love studying the Bible and I do lots of note taking. This channel is all things faith based, sharing my Bible Journaling methods, Bible Journaling supplies, Bible Reviews, and anything that can help and encourage you to dig deep into God's Word. His Word is truth and life! The King of Kings and Lord of the heavens and the earth wants to have a deep relationship with us and He gave us His precious Word (the Bible) to be able to do just that!
Hi friend!! Great video! Missed watching your videos as the move back home got me all kinds of busy!! Yes, yes, and yes to adding content on planners!! I think planning out our time with God is a key part of devotional time!! I would love to see how you use your planner to do that or even just managing day to day responsibilities (wife, mom, car pool driver, etc 🤪)…
@@levanaraum1116 Hi my friend!! Oh my goodness, I bet you were so busy! Hope you guys are settled in some what:) I’ll definitely be adding planner content to the channel, it’s so true that it is part of planning our time wisely to build godly habits! Hope to chat soon😘
Oooo I jumped out of my chair when you mentioned the Esther journal. I ordered one and it will be arriving sometime this week. I plan on using it for taking notes in Philippians when my pastor starts thst teaching series.
Yes!!! Planners! Haha. But mostly Bible content. I’ve unfollowed a lot of planner people because I just don’t agree with certain things they talk about as a Christian. But it would be nice to see some of that sprinkled in. 😊
@@WillowplusArlo yes, primarily my account will be Bible and faith based content but definitely, I will plan to add planner content in the near future! Thanks for watching! 🌸😊
@@jenjay.A.J great video idea! Hopefully I can get one recorded in the near future. I’m definitely planning on adding some planner content as well, thank you for watching.🌸❤️
Vickylin… I’m not Judy, but the best plan for me has been to read each day: an Old Testament passage, some psalms, some proverbs, and a New Testament passage. I bought a daily reading bible (no longer in print) and am now in my 5th year of reading it through. Bible gateway has a simple plan to follow.
I have recently discovered your videos and am enjoying them. I have ordered several books you have mentioned and can’t wait to get started in some serious bible study. And yes, I am very interested in planners and am trying to decide what to use in 2025. I tried a B6 rings this year, but don’t like it, it is too unorganized for me. I think I’m going back to the A5 6-hole notebook, or a travelers notebook.
You truly are amazing to be doing so much Bible related things! I can't even get myself to read through the Bible once. Do you have any tips for that? And how do you keep track of all your things that you do? Would love to see your planner! Thank you!
@@vickylin5126 I give God all the praise! You are not alone, I definitely found myself in that same place where it was difficult to read through the Bible even in a year! I think one of the biggest things that help me besides prayer, which is huge!… was forming habits that were honoring God. I had to form a habit to come daily to God‘s Word and prayer. And as you grow that habit, the desire to be in God‘s Word grows and you begin to desire to read and study and grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord! This does not happen overnight, it does take time, but all good things take time! Just put one foot forward every day and build a habit to be in His Word daily as you seek Him and ask Him to grow your desire for a deeper relationship with Him! He is faithful!

I really appreciate this second part of your James Bible study series! Your deep insight into the context and wisdom of the book of James really resonates. I love how you highlight practical wisdom from trials and God's grace in shaping us through perseverance. The connection between knowledge and wisdom is truly enlightening. Thank you for guiding us through this powerful letter and encouraging us to grow in faith! 🥰
Job 28:28 tells us what [true] wisdom is ... "Wisdom is the FEAR of the Lord and Understanding is to TURN FROM evil [which is at the heart of repentance ]"

This video provides really practical and helpful tips for Bible study! I especially liked the part about choosing the right Bible for your needs and finding a translation that’s easy to understand. It’s so important to slow down and meditate on the Word rather than rushing through it. I totally agree that taking time to reflect deeply on each passage helps with understanding and spiritual growth. Thanks for creating such a valuable guide-it’s going to be super helpful for my Bible study journey! 🥰
Hi Judy, I love the Book of James and refer to it often. At your suggestion I downloaded the Bible Project app and found the James video, which I found helpful and enjoyed watching, and my question is, how can I print a copy to put in my Bible as I see you have done? Thanks for your help. Love your channel 🥰
@@donnaeaton8670 hi! Thank you so much for watching! On a computer if you go to the James overview video, on the bottom right hand corner of the video right underneath it there should be a little link that says poster, if you click the poster, it should open up as a PDF. And then you should be able to download and print it. Hope this was helpful! 😊
Thank you so much! This was great. I love verse by verse study and always learn something new regardless of how many time I study. Today what hit me most was that James wrote this within 10 to 20 years of Jesus’ death and resurrection. His words (God’s Word) has gone thru all of the past generations and still is so valuable to us today and will be forever more. That in and of itself shows what it means to be steadfast right. And then I think about the Christians during Nero’s reign and others which reminds me that my trials are nothing compared to theirs. Sorry but it really puts things into perspective.
@@tracybingham7739 yes! So good, I love your comment! This is one of the best things about digging into God’s Word together, gleaming from each other and getting different perspectives. Thanks for sharing! 🌸😊
@@ellenyoung2754 hi, it’s the one with the blue butterfly, the ESV Single Column Journaling Bible Large print. Unfortunately, my exact cover is no longer made but I linked one with a similar color.
So did you find out the name of the RU-vidr for the list of Bible verses you showed? I would love a copy for myself. Thank you! I’m a new subscriber and I love your videos ❤
@@FlourishInHisWordwithJudy Well thank you for responding so quickly. Funny thing .. I am currently watching one of your videos and paused it to respond to you 😂 so in tuned ❤️ also I too am doing the Bible Recap. I love it! God Bless and thank you for your content. You’ve inspired me to add washi to my Bibles 🥰
@@FlourishInHisWordwithJudy They ARE!! And I’m so grateful I came crosses them. I want to practice being a better note taker. lol. 🙏🏼 Thank you! I hope you enjoy your Sunday. Oh! Forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sandy and I’m from Texas. ❤️
Personally I used to have a journaling Bible (still have it though I don’t use it ever) I used to make my Bible studies boastful because I was using that Bible, so I decided to use I regular Bible and has helped a lot.
I had never heard of spiral Bibles. I am totally getting one. Anyway I have a note book where I have actually put Bible tabs in so I can put my notes for that book in the notebook under that tab.
Really considering buying this bible for christmas. Prob will buy the hardback to save some money though. Will def get the large print. 11 point font isn't that big but, it's a lot better than 8 or 9. 👍 Nice review
Hello from Perú, John's Gospel is the first book I'm gonna be studying and this video is very helpful. Thank-you so much, God bless you! Honestly I don't know how should be the right way to do it and that makes me feel a little bit nervous, so I hope someone can help me and give me like an idea about how to do it.
@@fabian1019 if your talking about how to get started in your Bible, I would simply start by praying, ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you and to open your eyes to His wonderful Word. Then simply just start reading. Maybe highlight or underline what stands out to you. And just keep doing that daily, don’t give up. Maybe jot some notes down if God puts something on your heart. There is no right or wrong way to get started, God will meet with you❤️
@@FlourishInHisWordwithJudy hi, I meant how to study a book of the bible, I just read something here and there in the bible but I think studying and understanding 1 book will be better.
@@fabian1019 yes studying a book at a time is a very good method instead of just a verse here and there. I would just start at the beginning of a book and of course, praying and asking God to give you revelation and understanding of his word. A good way to start is with the 5W‘s, asking the questions who what when where and why. As you’re reading, ask these questions where they apply and use cross references as well as a Bible dictionary to to help you. I have other videos that give you some more in depth explanation on different steps. I hope this helps!
What genre did you call Revelations? I couldnt quite make out what you said. I just came across your channel recently and I am enjoying your content. Thank you for sharing your insights.
Starting in John is a great way to know Jesus. Our church does this and then we go through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse.
Sk excited for this series!!! (This is completely not on topic i apologize. I was wondering if you were the one who went through Faith's book of Acts? And even if you haven't, and still gone through Acts, was wondering if you had any recommendations on studies or anything? I'm feeling directed to Luke-Acts as a deep dive.. My current plan for "devotional" is to read through the gospels and look for something different each time.)
@@musicandmania I haven’t done Acts with Faith but I have used a conversational commentary from Michelle Meyers to go through Acts and it was so good! Here is the link😊 amzn.to/3MZl9IE

Oh I’m a new subscriber I forgot to tell you when posted on the video about how you explained Bible hub and how to use it. May God bless you in all that you do you are a gem ❤❤❤❤
I came across your video the other day, asI was searching for Bible study set ups. I gotta say that I absolutely love your setup!! I am brand new to your channel too!!
@@713flores09 if you go to the book overview video, on the bottom, right hand side of the video on a computer you will see where it says poster. You can click on poster and print it from there and downsize it with the scale to the size of your Bible. Hopefully that helps! Thank you for following along!
I also love reading my Bible I have a world Bible school study world Bible school study edition Bible I been studying psalm 23 that's my favorite verse of the entire Bible ❤😊
Very informative and instructive. You obviously get a tremendous amount of satisfaction in doing all of this background study to share and encourage others, and it's clear, your love for the Godhead is resolute. Love watching your posts!!
Thank you for doing the book of James step by step. I like your explanation of the context and yes I was taking notes. My confusion is what do I actually write in my bible. I know you will explain that as we go on with the study.
"It shall greatly help to understand scripture if thou mark not only what is spoken or written, but of whom and to whom, with what words, and what time, where, and to what intent, under what circumstances, considering what goeth before and what followeth." Can you translate this in normal English for me?
@@TheSandwichMan96 this is basically a quote talking about studying for context, find out the author, the audience, the purpose, the timeline, etc… of the book that you are studying or the passages you are studying. Look before the passages and after the passage. It’s basically talking about going deeper in your study, go beyond just marking or highlighting, but dig into the Word of God, study it, meditate on it. I hope this helps 🌸😊
I ❤ liked your suggestion on using a Translation that make it easier to understand. I also use different reference books such as commentaries, and any Biblical references that paint a clearer picture. Before reading a book I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show me which book to read praying for revelation and how it applies to my spiritual walk. Again excellent video
