Why did they pan away though they didn’t need to they could have animated them using the trigger which makes it possible to play B natural in second position
We got to meet the performer who recorded the trombone part and he told a story of how they had 4-5 cameras on him so that the animators could make this as accurate as possible. Of course, the animators probably didn’t realize that note would be impossible for younger students, but I love the detail that went into animating this.
I remember my arms not being long enough back in middle school to fully extend the slide, so I’d flick it out from my fingertips to the top of my foot with my leg extended out in front of me, and then tap the end of the slide back up to catch it back with my fingers 😂 that’s what happens when you were 5’1”-5’2” back in middle school
But it would’ve been smart if that was a case of not reaching the position, they could’ve had her on a trombone with an F attachment but it be too much for basic music knowledge of her age range so it’s understandable
Isn’t it interesting that lowkey even tho trombone is in bass clef oddly enough that half note was a “G” on treble clef😅 don’t mind me it’s the bandhead (band geek) in me and yes I know that’s a B in (B)ass clef #stitchbait
Time. That's what you need to get good at anything... especially music. You are essentially an athlete that needs to forever train in order to be on top of the game. It really does get exhausting.
Interesting information. The trombone piece is played by Andy Martin. He is a pretty badass musician that also came up with the intro music for Monsters Inc!
