Finally someone who knows what they are talking about making a video. Today we have way too many people making videos who are just in it for the money and use scare tactics. I heard the ticking on my V6 when I looked at it. Mentioned it and got a good deal. Got it home and put the long screwdriver on the valve covers. Just the normal sound. Put the screwdriver on the injectors and have 2 clicking more than others. Thing is. Sure Mopar gets a bad rap for bad lifters but how many were just injectors? I may try a video with the screwdriver. I also bought the scope and can try that on the camera microphone. I did add graphene oil additive to the V6 on day 1. I tried it on my 2000 V6 Honda with 170K and it quieted down in seconds. The 3.0 has adjustable lifters but never adjusted them. So I made a video adding graphene to my Toyota with the cam advance slap on start up. You can hear the difference. Just left the van sit for a few months. Battery actually died. With all the oil drained out of the advance I started it up and no noise at all. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KPi63XpSACI.html
These are good tires. I have had two sets. Having said that, you can also get the Continental True Contact or the Yokohama Avid Ascend which are comparable for the same money.
The super and an old chunk of sidewall method works best I've never used tubes when fixing ATV tires you can simply cut a piece of sidewall out of an old Tire shave it down to whatever thickness you like and then use regular Loctite brand super glue or really any cheap super glue off the shelf I've used Dollar Store super glue before but you find the hole inside your tire and glue that piece of rubber to the inside of the tire put it back on the rim and you're good to go that's how I patch ATV tires and it works amazingly the last one I did was on my 06 Polaris Sportsman 800 and it's been there for the last 3 years still holding air today
I don't check my page, much, sorry I didn't reply. I switched to a IAG AOS, and still had it freeze, even though it's heated by coolant. The fix? A piece of cardboard! I simply put cardboard over the intercooler and the AOS, I have not had a problem since then.
Mine have an issue where they flat spot, everyday. If i park for a few days.. Its like i have added a pound of wheel weights to them. After a few miles of driving it goes away..
I also ordered these tires from Amazon for my Yamaha grizzly 700. I'm in the high mountain town in Colorado and I plow a lot of snow here. My old tires were directional tires and I would have to watch the side hills and in snow banks I would get stuck trying to back out. With these tires, I don't slide from side to side on hills and I can back out of snow banks with ease. I'm really pleased with these tires and the price is really too good to be true. But I highly recommend these tires.
Also, it's a dry climate here with very little humidity and at 9500 ft elevation, the sun intense in the summer so I don't store my ATV or anything that has a tendency to dry rot. I also haul a lot of firewood and I have to ride over branches and stumps and rocks and so far I'm on my third season with these tires and have not had a puncture issue.
Tryna decide whether this would be a step down from Continental TrueContacts that I've loved on my Subaru Forester. The price is right, but I've never owned any Uniroyal tires.
I've been running Uniroyal Tiger Paw A/S on all my vehicles for several years now. I think they are by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to tires.
They are good, but the Hercules Terra Trac Cross V AW has a 12.5/32 tread depth and a free two year road hazard/material and workmanship replacement guarantee for the same money.
Dumb question but can you weld high flow catalytic converters on this y pipe? It's mostly for the catless smell. Had a car without cat and the catless smell novelty wore off, was rectified using high flow cats. Looking to get these same long tubes for my 97 Firehawk LT1 M6. Thanks
489’s I believe are stock tire’s on most I always buy ( Carlisle all trail ). Best traction, last for ever. Works on a pavement, mud , hard dirt. Etc. if you ever get a chance to put them on. You will be happy with them.
I am surprised this has so few views. I bought the Radium Catch Can kit n was gonna install this weekend. I live in Mid-Michigan we get cold winters but not near as cold as you. I’ve worked in the Bakken Wiliston, New Town area and have seen near -75 w windchill. I think the coldest I’ve ever seen in the my part of the Mitt was -30. Definitely second thinking installing it.
I haven't checked my page for a while, I did make some changes. I went with the IAG AOS, which is heated by coolant, however, I still had it freeze on me. The solution? A piece of cardboard! What was happening is that the cold air would blow through the intercooler and freeze up my lines. so, I stuck a piece of cardboard on top of the intercooler and AOS, and have not had a single problem since!
You have a burnt spot in your belt. Replace the belt and see if it fixes the problem. Happens on snowmobiles if yoy lock the brake or track freezes to the ground and you hit the gas. It makes a spot in the belt that is not as wide and only happens at low speed. You could still ride it but will always do the knocking till you change the belt.
Uniroyal being owned by Michelin, curious to how good the quality is, friend of mine swore by Uniroyal back in the 80s. I just bought some AT tires (Laredos, 31s) for the 96 Bronco. I put a whooping 300 miles on it last year. But the tires I just took off were from 07. No longer trusted them despite lots of tread. I’m really picky about the traction in the rain, haven’t got to try them out yet. How have yours done ?
I had both the wildpeak and the Open country and I do heard the noise difference. Open country is noisy but has more pick up when accelerating . Is a lighter tire I think around 10 lb difference
I have a Kawasaki prairie 360 but I have a detail, when it comes to speed, it starts to walk alone, what is it due to, I hope you could tell me, I would really appreciate it.
