Most comon male fach is tenor. Unfortunately (lack of) technique makes many of them believe they are baritones. Lazy tenors of the world unite!😂😂 (The list in operatic world is extensive too, BTW)
I'm quite surprise that the queen of resonant in Korea isn't here. And I mean about 'Lee Haeri'. Sohyang is indeed a monster in E5-C#6, but below that Lee Haeri would eat an entire K-Pop industry with her amazing resonant vocals from C4-F5.
That's why I'm so happy that even I can't sing my favorite songs since it's for tenors i still like being baritone since baritones can sing both high and low notes, I'm still working on my mixed voice
I love these comments from 6 years ago. People saying that Ariana has a poor technique and such. Welp I disagreed then and I disagree even more now 😂 that girl is pure talent and ain't many singers out there in this generation who can out-sing her at this point.
Some of these guys I don't agree are actual baritones. I think the Asian guy in the middle of the video, for example, is probably a heldentenor. I do consider Buble just barely a baritone, and sometimes I even question whether he is one. But I think Sinatra and Legend are both very solid baritones. Hoying, I think, is a solid baritone, too but he overbrightens. Elvis, though not mentioned in this video, started as a tenor but slowly lowered to baritone imo.
I am a fan of Halsey so I should say that right off the bat. The video you played of them were from the beginning of their career and before career started. I don’t know if you’ve listened to any of them latest songs, but they definitely improves well with things you mentioned. Just some food for thought
The mic or sound system was off this night. A B5 live should blow your hair back if the mic is working. There’s usually a bit of reverb on her voice as well. But this sounded like Ari just started screaming on stage and the phone of the person filming caught it. A B5 should sound better at the Grammys than a someone hitting a B5 in their backyard
I love Billie Eilish she does it better than anyone else, people always use to mock her for whispering but if it’s that easy you go in front of hundreds and thousands of people or in the studio and replicate her techniques down to the tea if it’s that easy. Regardless of her singing her writing and production also elevate her music, and she just has so much personality. She’s the whole package
Jonlayn, Ailee, Melanie, Sohyang, Mariah, Whitney, they all have this ringing quality in their belts that you rarely find in singers. Makes their voice EXPLODE with resonance
Ok, so Sinatra and Seth Macfarlane yes and Hwanhee and Buble are barely a baritone but all these others in my opinion just dont cut it as a true baritone Im sorry.. For me (Perry Como, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and from the 90s Geoff Tate). These guys are true blue baritones.
