I try to spend my free time working in the garage as time allows and doing my best to document some of it for your entertainment. The current projects consist of the 1970 Challenger, the 87 Reliant, and the 87 Shelby CSX. I also enjoy machining, welding and metal fabrication.

YOU ROCKED THIS. Fixed. Thank you sincerely. Frigidaire dishwasher. The control board would not respond. Breaker off for 5 minutes, when turned it on the lights would flash for a few seconds and the go out and no matter what buttons I pressed, nothing. Found this video, played with the latch a little bit, breaker back on and it worked. Thank you!
We have the same tiles, same screwdriver 🪛 and same crappy dishwasher with same issue. Great video. Saved me from a repair call or buying a new dishwasher.
They were close on the measurements to begin with then I tightened them a little at a time as I ran the axis back and forth. I don’t know if I lucked out but it went really easily
@@onefortheroad2291 Orange would go nice with yard work people because popular brands of tools are orange husqvarna, stihl, kubota, worx, black n decker, fiskars, rigid, pitsburg, harbor freight brands, etc. Yellow would be nice because same reason of matching popular equipment and tools plus it would look like a big tonka toy. I just don’t understand why they avoid two of the most popular colors yellow and orange.

Thanks for this video. My Dishwasher is only 6months old…. I was extremely irritated.. esp after being told these dish washers are some of the best functioning dishwashers on the market right now. Which I can’t complain as far as dishes being cleaned.. it does a great job.. but what a poor design for a latch system imo.
Yeah this was my case also with the exact dishwasher in the video. I think I could have reached it with not taking the black control panel (the torque) but either way this worked perfectly
Exactly the fix for my Frigidaire dishwasher. We had a power blip last night and dishwasher stopped responding. Power cycled, checked circuit breakers and GCFM outlets; no fix. Was about to look up pulling the board but your video saved me a lot of time and money. THANK YOU!
i added a dab of super glue where the "bar" wont fall all the way back down locking it or keeping it turned off since i had to do this several times cause the "bar" kept dropping down preventing it from locking
You hit the nail on the head. If I had a lot more open land I think the top speed would be a limiting factor for fun, but for 95% of what I do, I’m not going much over 25mph, never mind in excess of 40

I’ve heard from other commenters that it has reoccured, but as luck would have it, mine has not acted up since! Good for me, but I haven’t since opened it back up to review the issue more in depth or determine a permanent solution.

Excellent work. I really wished I kept my 1986 Omni GLH turbo. I did so many mods to my car, and had dreams of taking the Chrysler TC Maserati motor and building it just like this!! I sold my car to pay for my wedding... Such is life.
