Stopped as soon as I saw the shirt. Dude. Get rid of all of those. Stupid funny jokes with the boys....look real super dumb on a shirt and will cost you work. My first thought was....oh this guys a joke. He doesnt care about his company image at all.
I’m in the flooring industry, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to take planks from a different room (usually out of a closet) and lace them into a main common area to finish a floor. Then carpet over the jacked up areas lol. It’s the best option to keep the look cohesive
First off those are illegal now in Canada for a shop to use. Second no glue third never on a commerical vehicle ffs . Never never never do like this please
Even if it has a on and off switch on the winch, you still need a cut off switch because I had an issue with the same winch kept pulling, even if I turned it off
the truck is coming along awesome.. just a suggestion for your winch, you might want to look into getting a heavy-duty relay..installing that would allow you to locate the power switch in your cab..on a lighted switch, to remind you it is on and make life easier for you turning the power on just a thought .....If you decide to do this, ask your parts store about Ford starter relays. they are cheaper than winch relays and work the same
@@rollingops my peterbilt has same style rearend in it when i get around it later i will look to make sure im rite. It could also be the camera angle making it look to high i just dont want you putting to much and it blowing oil out the breather tube making a mess or possibly blowing seals.
It probably looks high. I think the second hole is less than halfway up the pumpkin. But I'll admit, I saw the second drain hole at the bottom and it threw me off. Had a weird hex head to it.
@@rollingops the drain plug is in the very bottom. Of the housing. One of those plugs on the back is for filling rearend the other is for a temperature sensor if it wasn’t even half way up its the rite one it kinda looked like it was up over halfway must have just been the camera angle.
@@robertcobb2805 we both have cdls. But if it didn't have the tag axle, you wouldn't need a cdl. It's rated for 23,000 lbs. If something is rated under 26,000 lbs. You don't need a CDL, even if it has air brakes. The tag axle that was added complicates that.
With that size of bathroom in the upstairs apt I would have went with a pedestal sink instead of the vanity unit. Just to give the bathroom some more space.

@russelldill5316 so I've heard both. I've been told on high Amp draws it's better to run to the battery. But I've had just as many people say just do the frame. I just decided to match what the trailer design did.
You only had to run the ground down the lift to the frame rail. Just make sure to make a ground cable from the battery to the frame of the same cable you will be set.. but a little extra wire is ok but expensive
@@rollingops You and me both. I'm runnin 3 x 20s, 3 x 15s, and 1 x 4yarder for concrete/dirt, and a 16' flat deck my welders adding stake pockets and rub rails on right now.. I'm dying to get more stock though. The 4 yard bin has actually been going out a ton and it wasn't to expensive to have built. I might pick up another one of those soon but I want 4-6 more 20s. I'm running a Multilift 54" hook lift on a Hino 195. She's small and gets me in and out of some tight spots, but can carry a 16' can. I started in November and i'm just now getting to 30 bins/month rented. Trying to push that # up though, but as you know it's all about having more bins.
As far as securing your equipment to the trailer for 100% certainty I’d get with DOT with that question. After all they’d be the one who would give you a ticket if you didn’t have it secured the right way. I thought it was 4 points of securement for a vehicle plus one if it has an attachment like a bucket. Again though get with DOT not a local cop. DOT has more training to deal with stuff like that. As a truck driver if DOT asks to look at my log book or does an inspection on my truck it’ll be a LOT quicker than if it’s a local cop in the same situation.
@DelawareDiamondRentals we still kinda do them this way. Just part of my daily operation. We don't push them super hard because they can kinda disrupt the flow since we don't have a dedicated truck for them. But we still do em!

She's a beauty. The paint is not perfect. But no rust whatsoever on her. She's been a fun project so far. We have a lot planned for her, while still trying to preserve that old body charm.
@Stoneyhost4135 welp, technically, if you got one without the tag axle back there on the rear, or removed it, you don't need a cdl. This truck has a 23k gvwr but does come with air brakes. You don't need a cdl for a truck under 26k gvwr lbs. Even if it has air brakes (at least in IL and MO).
