I cant help but wonder why you didnt put your ring finger or pinky or even both through that large hole in the top of the dagger to prevent your hand from slipping off the handle and down onto the blade during the block test.
That is actually a good wondering. The reason is I learned my lesson when putting it through the holster and G in the other videos. The force coming down on something solid transfers directly to that single finger, which hurts like crap.
I see. Well that makes sense but i think id rather have hurt fingers than sliced or seperated ones. Haha. Still its cool you took the test to that level. Thanks for the vid and stay safe!
Matthew Hartsuch Ahhhh. Now it makes a bit more sense. I had seen pictures where people had sharpened the side edges so i was under the impression the dagger came bladded from the manufacturer. Now i know better. Thanks for the info.
***** it would be hard to sharpen it to a blade because its almost an 1/8inch thick all the way out to the tip, really more of a giant ice pick than a knife
