In this video, I ran two mags through this converted Glock 17 by Weapon Works LLC. It was a learning experience for me, and I thought I'd show everyone else. On the 1st run, everything "look" right, as far as fundamentals go for this particular technique. Shoulders relaxed...somewhat, elbows turned in, high tang grip, proper sight picture/sight alignment. However, after watching it, you can tell I failed to effectively mitigate the recoil. On the second mag, I worked to correct that. Shoulders relaxed and parallel, elbows turned in, muscles tensed, tendons, not elbows, locked in place, high tang grip, shooting hand thumb wrapped high and locked on top of my reaction hand. Reaction hand thumb pressed firm on the frame, knees slightly bent, leaning into the gun, establishing the firm stance and correcting the rocking back onto heels. The result was far less over all muzzle rise, and a more stable stance.
