I thought i had air in the metering block after doing a a valve and packing cup...come to find out the couplers are bad...i literally went so far as to buy a spare but as i couldnt get it bleed off...ditched the couplers for straight fittings
It could be a bad seal but it is usually the A valve. Remove the coil that the black wire goes to and there's the valve, it's a 1 and 1/4 socket, all American on those pumps
This is painful to watch. Literally banging a cast aluminum cap over a ram and never changing the one time use Nylock washers. 🤦🏼♂️ Dumping the oil out through the top when there's a perfectly good drain plug on the bottom wtf? Come one bro you can do better than this! I didn't see a torque wrench used on a single piece of hardware. Next time you bang a piston and ram back into a cylinder, hone the cylinder or use steel wool and then lube it with oil before you bang things together caveman style on the ground. TIP: Use the profits you made from hacking that repair together and buy a vice. This was the most painful "repair" of a pump I've ever seen.
Is it possible to color match a factory color where it looks like it has depth with a clear coat look as opposites to wraps which appear dull and even a color match looks different than the paint ??
@@jimmieowens8658 His is a two lead motor. Positive and negative. My motor has one positive lead and the ground lead is connected to the sump base. Meyer use a couple of different style motors on these.
Got a new sub thanks for this video building a 03 2500 bought a new bumper to me and need to clean up the chrome and paint the plastic and this is exacly the video to get me prepared so i dont break anything.
Hey - I had a few questions. Why not use a grey base then red for quicker coverage? seemed a bit dark in some spots which all went away after the sour lava. Also what gloss did you use?
Yeahh so the color that want requires for red but yeah your completely correct there were some dark spots so it I actually had thought about it while I was in the process and next time I’ll go ahead and spray Abe gray and then a red with the car is a dark color. But ended up evening out. I use the gloss use on the oem paint Finish 1 720
The seatbelts stay locked in the position/slack that they were in during the accident, meaning the seatbelt was like that during the accident, ie they weren't wearing their seatbelt. The quality and condition of the truck reflects the owner; human garbage and trash. Wouldn't be surprised if the driver got hurt from the accident.
Great work man, I'm actually working on one myself, got to replace the grill, right fender headlight, radiator, and the reservoir, to be honest I hate working on Chevrolet's, most customers have no idea what guys like us go through 🙄, cool cat homz 👍🏾
Hey bro nice detailed video you did, have a 2020 silverado same thing happen. Does it have an side impact sensor or something. Wondering why curtains airbag deploy and seat belt lock up
Thanks you, no mine is a 2012 but they do bring some impact sensors on the door and towards the back pillar and seat belt always tend to lock up when airbags deploy. Most the time you either got to replace them or send out to get repaired .
